Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin has had a rough week to say the least. After leading the Packers’ offense to an impressive record-breaking season, the tragic loss of his son surrounded the team and news. Philbin coached from the box as he usually does this past Sunday against the New York Giants. Many players wanted to win the game for him and his family. While there are still a number of teams searching for a head coach is it possible the death of his son will keep him from a head coaching position? Michael Philbin, only 21 years old, was reported missing last Sunday. His body was found in the Fox River in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Monday. Meanwhile, a day before his son went missing, Philbin interviewed with the Miami Dolphins for their head coaching vacancy. While many suggested that Jeff Fisher was the number one choice, he eventually chose the St. Louis Rams instead.
