Crazy Colts Fan - Time for Darrius Heyward-Bey to Get to Work
If Indianapolis Colts fans wanted a little reassurance that signing Darrius Heyward Bey was a good move I think they have it. Why? Because the youngster is smart enough to realize he is in a rather good position and it sounds like he is not going to blow it.
Now I am not just talking about playing in Indy or with one of the up and coming quarterbacks in the NFL in Andrew Luck, but the fact that should he stick he will be the veteran that the offense is going to look to for leadership in a year or two when Reggie Wayne retires.
So all he has to do is stay on the team and then he'll be the man, right? Wrong! The results have to be there of course and he can't be a distraction on or off the field either. He needs to be the consummate professional.
And he gets the chance to learn how to do all that from one of the best in the game--Reggie Wayne!

Peyton Manning gave the Colts 13 fantastic seasons before an injury forced him to sit out the 2011 season. His absence may have turned into a blessing in disguise, as it led to a 2-14 season that brought Andrew Luck to town.
Based on his rookie year in 2012, Luck is likely to ensure at least another decade of solid play at the helm. Luck, head coach Chuck Pagano; General Manager...
Colts owner Jim Irsay and his team have been very active in free agency this year, but the team won't be active in paying for a suite upgrade at Lucas Oil Stadium. According to Jon Murray of the Indianapolis Star, the city, not the team, will be paying the $2 million bill for upgrades to the stadium's suites.
It's strange that Indianapolis will be paying for the upgrades...
Funny how a year changes things in the NFL.Last year this time, the Indianapolis Colts were in a state of transition. Gone was the old regime of Peyton Manning and the excitement of a rookie quarterback who was heralded as the next John Elway was ready to bring in a new era to the storied franchise. Out was a team that had been the worst in the NFL with two wins.In was a new coach...

Dear Pro Football Talk,
I’m tired of your games, your bias, your blatant disrespect for the Indianapolis Colts and owner Jim Irsay. I’m sick of you referring to him as Robert, his father’s name, just to be spiteful. Let me clarify that I don’t know Mr. Irsay personally and have no affiliation with the Colts...
Just weeks after losing starting safety LaRon Landry to the Indianapolis Colts during free agency, the New York Jets inked older brother Dawan to a new contract.
