Danny Amendola just joined the New England Patriots a month ago and he’s already making an impact. The former undrafted product out of Texas Tech has pledged to help in the relief efforts via Twitter following Monday’s horrible tragedy at the Boston Marathon that killed three people and injured at least 144 others. Photo Credit: Amendola, 27, caught 63 passes for 666 yards and three TDs in 11 games (eight starts) in 2012.  He’s played in 42 contests (17 starts) and made 196 receptions for 1,726 yards and seven scores in four seasons with the St. Louis Rams. This is an awesome gesture from a player that doesn’t appear to have any ties to the area prior to joining the Patriots.  Hopefully he has a huge impact with Tom Brady and company and this decision inspires others to get involved and come up with ways to make donations of their own.
