PLAYERS: David Carr
TEAMS: New York Giants
According to Mike Garafolo of USA Today Sports, New York Giants quarterback David Carr is expected to test the free agent market and try to land somewhere that he has a shot at starting next season. Garafolo believes the Buccaneers could be a potential landing spot for Carr, since former Giants assistant coach Mike Sullivan is their offensive coordinator. With Carr turning 34 in July, I’m not sure which team will bring him in to compete for a starting job.  I think his time as passed to prove that he can be an NFL starter.     Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = ''+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

Carr plans to strike while the iron is hot according to Ralph Vacchiano of the NY Daily News, and turn to free agency in an attempt to salvage his...

No One Loves Martellus Bennett (at least the Giants don’t)

No One Loves Martellus Bennett (at least the Giants don’t) Martellus Bennett, tight end for the New York Giants, was not sad to leave Dallas after the 2011 season after feeling like he was underutilized. [The fan in this story probably loves him...] When he signed with the New York Giants he was out to prove that he was an every down player and a quality...

New York Giants: 5 Biggest Questions Heading Into The Offseason

A chilly day in December. From a house in my neighborhood the words "What the Hell was that?" and "No. No, Nooooooo!!!" These cries of anguish were usually followed up by a hurled remote and "Kids, here's 25 bucks for pizza. Daddy's head hurts and he's going out to start a bar fight." This house, as you (and CPS) now know, is my house....
