The Denver Broncos got a key addition to their defense on Monday when the NFL league office re-instated LB D.J. Williams after he served his suspensions. Williams was slapped with nine games worth of suspension, a six-game suspension for violation of PED policy and another three game suspension for his second alcohol related driving offense. Williams might be back on the roster later this week, but he’s going to have to work his way back onto the field. Williams might be back on the Broncos team but still has to finish serving a 30-day house arrest sentence and will serve a two-year probation stint starting the day after the Super Bowl. In addition, Williams was forced to return some of his signing bonus money to the Broncos.
