60 Max Power O:
A bit of a busy Tuesday, as there are numerous Broncos news bytes to report on. The most important of them all is Elvis Dumervil. Dumervil has been cleared of all charges stemming from the gun incident in South Florida on July 14th. Although all charges have been dropped, commissioner Roger Goodell still has the power to suspend or punish Dumervil. Time will tell on whether or not that is the case. Dumervil said that he was ready "to move on with his life."
In other news, Willis McGahee has added 10 pounds to his playing weight from last season. McGahee now weighs 245 pounds, and is at 9 percent body fat. McGahee has been seen in training camp practices utilizing his size to break through tackles.
The Broncos open the preseason at home vs. the Bears on Thursday night. If you don't live in the Denver region, you can catch the game following it's conclusion at 11:00 on NFL Network. Peyton Manning will take 10-12 snaps in the game, equaling about two drives. It's expected that Caleb Hanie – Denver's No. 2 quarterback – will take over at the end of the first and for the entire second quarters. Brock Osweiler will then play the third, with Adam Weber playing in the fourth.
In a bit of training camp news, the Broncos held training camp earlier today. Of the players that did not practice, Ryan Harris, Tyler Grisham, Justin Bannan, and Greg Orton were on the sidelines in shorts. Newly signed Broncos Jim Leonhard and Keith Brooking both also sat out. Leonhard is still recovering from an injury he suffered last December, while Brooking – having signed yesterday – cannot practice until Saturday, as league rules permit. Brooking was seen wearing the No. 57 jersey during stretches.
RB Mario Fanin tore his achilles during a recent scrimmage on Aug. 4. He is out for the season once again. He was placed on waivers. If he clears waivers, the Broncos can keep him on their reserve list for the second straight season.
Interesting rumor, although it may not hold much truth, Matt Moore cold be traded to the Broncos, according to Rant Sports. Although I find this hard to believe, regardless of how well Ryan Tannehill has been performing in training camp, the Dolphins should be keeping Matt Moore entering the 2012 season. A fact that relates to this story is that if the Broncos are unhappy with Caleb Hanie as their backup, they could get rid of him before the season starts and not be penalized. Hanie's two-year contract does not kick in until he makes the roster. Therefore, if the Broncos trade him in the preseason, no money is owed to him.
According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, the Broncos' No.2 RB job is a race between Lance Ball and Knowshon Moreno. Despite Ronnie Hillman being listed as the No. 3 back, Klis states that the immediate backup job to McGahee is a battle between Ball and Moreno.

NFL teams announced their first depth charts on Monday of the 2012 season and the running back situation for the Denver Broncos shows that RB Knowshon Moreno could be on his way out of Denver. Moreno is currently listed as the team’s fourth running back on the depth chart.
Willis McGahee has a firm grip on the starting role for the Broncos heading into this season. Lance Ball is...
OT Ryan Clady
This one is a no brainer. The Broncos don’t have any other options that make any sense and they won’t let their franchise left tackle hit the open market, even though, as I’ve explained before, he’s one of the most overrated players in the NFL. Still, those guys are available on the open market almost as rarely as franchise quarterbacks. Clady and the Broncos...
Denver, CO. With the first 2012 Denver Broncos preseason game just one day away, the initial depth chart has now been released. Not many surprises really, and quite honestly whatever order the players are in on that sheet doesn’t mean much at all at this point. The team still has four exhibition games to really dissect who is legit and who may not even make the final cut. But...
Tebow mania cannot hold a candle to Manning mania. The evidence? Saturday afternoon, 41,304 fans packed the lower levels of Sports Authority Field at Mile High to watch the Broncos' annual preseason scrimmage. The attendance was more than double the amount who had turned out in 2010, Tim Tebow’s first year in Denver.

Peyton Manning is about to face his first pass rush in 579 days.
The four-time MVP makes his Denver Broncos debut in the preseason opener at Chicago on Thursday. If he has an extra pep in his step or anticipates a larger than usual adrenaline rush against the Bears, he's not showing it.
He insists it's simply the next steppingstone in his comeback in Denver after missing...
Force Factor Juan…
Willis McGahee is firmly planted on my sleeper list this season and for good reason. He has gained 10 lbs of muscle this off season and lowered his body fat % in order to take a big pounding this season. We know John Fox loves veteran runners and Peyton Manning makes fantasy runners that much better.

According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, the Miami-Dade attorney’s office didn’t agree with the assault charges that were filed against Broncos linebacker Elvis Dumervil, so they decided to not charge him with crimes associated with the road rage incident he was involved in.
“The state attorney’s office decided Tuesday to not formally charge Dumervil of any wrongdoing...
I have always been a big John Elway fan. I felt, even before he won two Super Bowls in his last two seasons in the NFL, that he was one of the greatest ever. I still feel that he’s top five. The rings were just extra on a brilliant career. He didn’t need them. Unfortunately, [...]
The Denver Broncos shocked the world by making the playoffs, and even winning a playoff game, last season. This year though, they’ll be lucky to finish at 8-8. A record of 7-9 or 6-10 is highly likely. Here are five reasons why the Broncos will disappoint in 2012.
1. THE SCHEDULE
The Broncos have the toughest schedule in the AFC, facing teams that had a combined 2011 win...

The Denver Broncos and quarterback Peyton Manning will be relieved—or, in Manning’s case, disappointed—to know that Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher has been ruled out for the team’s preseason opener Thursday evening in Chicago. Urlacher has missed six consecutive training camp practices.

Tonight when the Denver Broncos play the Chicago Bears, the drama that started 3 years ago comes full circle. See for me, looking back to the start of the 2009 NFL season was a bad one. Bronco fans had just lost our future Hall of Fame coach and the new guy somehow chased our Pro-Bowl QB out of town. But little did we know how much drama would follow and where it would lead.
“I want YOUR stem cells.”
For a while, the Tebowtard tent revival overwhelmed Denver until locals either bought in or were denied basic services. After riding the Denver defense, Willis McGahee and Matt Prater to a division title at 8-8 and a Wild Card victory over a Steelers team that decided against covering receivers, Teebs was shipped East to bring Jeebus to the land of bagels...
