I am always leery of a player who admits to quitting and not wanting to get hit. When you give that type of player millions of dollars, you wonder if he will ever give full effort, now that he has been paid.
DeSean Jackson in my opinion is either going to have monster season or the Eagles are going to regret signing him to that big contract.
Pro Football Zone has the details.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has told ESPN’s Lisa Salters that he didn’t play as hard as he could in 2011, because he was afraid of getting injured.
“I let it get to me, even though I tried not to let it. I was trying to protect myself from getting hurt — now I’m just giving it all,” said Jackson.

2012 Fantasy Football Preview: Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin
The Philadelphia Eagles’ Monday night game against the New England Patriots may have not meant much in terms of scoring, stats, etc. But for fantasy football owners, it was the first time we saw Jeremy Maclin suit up this preseason.

NFC East Preview
Remember when the Philadelphia Eagles were referred to as the “Dream Team”? It ended up being more like the “in your dreams, team”. They had an awful start to last season (1-4 through five games), and were unable to recover from it, even after gelling a bit more and winning their final four games. Some analysts felt the lockout affected the Eagles more than other teams, since...
