Rogers told Bond that some schools had agreed to a $200K pricetag for Newton's services, but MSU could have him for only $180K. Gee, thanks... nice hometown discount...All this would be beyond bad for the Plains...Cecil Newton denied any shenanigans to Forde, Low, and Schlabach..."If Rogers tried to solicit money from Mississippi State, he did it on his own, without our knowledge," Cecil Newton said.Rogers is also under investigation by the NFL...
