The Philadelphia Eagles won't have another jailbird on their roster after all. The team's backup running back Dion Lewis had the criminal charges against him dismissed in court on Monday. According to Bryan Fitzgerald of the Times Union, Dion and his brother Lamar Lewis were both charged with a felony of falsely reporting a fire and a misdemeanor charge of reckless endangerment during a July 8 incident at a Hampton Inn hotel in Albany, NY.   • How in the world can Steve Smith, the Spokesman for the Police Dept say that he saw nothing inappropriate. The officers pepper-sprayed, hand-cuffed, and dragged them out of the hotel on the ground without once determining if they were guests of the hotel. The Lewis brothers deserve not only an apology, but the hotel clerk, the police officers, and anyone involved in this deserve to lose their job. You best believe I will not be staying at Hampton hotels, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Those two young men could have loss their lives over fault reporting by the clerk and over-reaction by the police. And how the District Attorney did not see that is beyond me and COMMON SENSE.
