MIAMI - 2009: Jeff Ireland of the Miami Dolphins poses for his 2009 NFL headshot at photo day in Miami, Florida. (Photo by NFL Photos)

After losing 30-10 to the Houston Texans on Sunday, the Miami Dolphins are not doing very much as a team to protect the skin of their GM Jeff Ireland.

Fans and insiders often point to Ireland as the primary reason why the Dolphins are in the shape that they are in.

  • Sooooo many very good players have sliped through our fingers over his(Ireland)time with the FINS, one comes to mind,,,and his initials are WES WELKER!!!GOOD BYE JEFF I will lose no sleep after your gone and the sooner the better, and maybe just maybe we will return to the great team we were that seems so long ago!!!! Mr. Ross what are you waiting for???
  • If Mr. Ross keeps this guy another day, he should be fired too! What a disaster. Everyone but Ross sees this guys as useless. It shows Mr. Ross knows nothing about football. How can we expect him to build a winner here. He needs to bring in a guy(s) like a Bill Polian or Bill Cowher or both. Give them the reins & get the hell out of the way! You'll never see me in that Stadium as long as Ireland is around. He makes Ross look like a fool & the fans too for that matter.
