Eagles wide receiver, DeSean Jackson has fired his agent Drew Rosenhaus, The rumor is that DeSean is interested in joining up with Jay Z and Roc Nation Sports. DeSean received a 5-year $47 million contract with the Eagles in March of 2012. Of that, $15 million was guaranteed. After the 2013 season, Jackson’s contract is goes down in number for the final three seasons.
One reason Jackson might want to land at Roc Nation Sports, he has a side hobby as a rapper. Certainly signing with Jay Z means you get some sort of meeting with the label side, right? He even has his own starter “Beyonce” in girlfriend Chantel.
The NFPLA is investigating how Jay Z has been utilized in recruiting efforts. Seems the other agents have a reason to be concerned.
