According to, the Philadelphia Eagles signed wide receiver Ifeanyi Momah to a three-year contract on Saturday. The Eagles added depth and height to their receiving corps Saturday by signing injury-plagued 6-foot-7 wideout Ifeanyi Momah (pronounced E-feind-ee Mow-ma) to a three-year deal. Momah hasn’t played since Sept. 3, 2011, when he caught eight passes for 157 yards in Boston College’s 24-17 loss to Northwestern in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Momah missed the rest of the season with a knee injury and was out of football last year after being denied a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. Momah was draft eligible last year but wasn’t healthy and went undrafted. But Momah is now apparently healthy and impressed the Eagles when he ran 4.4 for 40 yards in a couple recent workouts that the Eagles had scouts at. It’s truly amazing that an athlete as tall as Momah can run that fast.  If he can stay healthy and learn the NFL game, he might be a big-time steal for the Eagles and head coach Chip Kelly. Momah only recorded 39 receptions for 629 yards and 6 touchdowns during his college career at Boston College.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = ''+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();
