Philadelphia Eagles training camp is underway and already there are some good quotes and some informative news coming out. I just happened to choose a few nuggets from the other day that I found interesting…even if in a ridiculous way!
First up is the thought from Philly Mag’s Tim McManus that Nick Foles is not only battling Michael Vick the player, but also Vick “the legend.”
Apparently, some key players on the Eagles’ offense grew up idolizing Vick and now they’re playing with him. Though they’re trying to say the right things to the media for the most part as far as the QB competition goes, they make just naturally gravitate towards Vick simply because they saw him as a star when they were younger…
