Whenever a team wins multiple championships with most of the same key players, people are bound to start throwing the word “dynasty” around. It happened with the Patriots earlier in the 21st century and it is happening with the Giants now. New York has won two championships in four seasons. If they win a third within the next year or two, you can expect even more people to call the Giants a dynasty. However, Eli Manning says his team has not gotten there yet. “No, no, we’re not (a dynasty),” he said on NFL AM Wednesday according to Pro Football Talk. “We had a little break — the two years prior to last year we didn’t make the playoffs. We’ve got work to do. We have good players on this team, we have the potential to be a playoff team and to make a run once we get into the playoffs. “It’s a matter of going out there and proving that, and everybody going out there and playing to their level of play. New York Giants: Eli Manning a Future Hall of Famer

Let me start by stating I am a die-hard, true blue Dallas Cowboy fan. It all started in 1983 when I saw my first Cowboys game. I was nine. Since then I’ve been hooked. I haven’t missed a Sunday of football in 25 years and haven’t missed a Cowboys game since 1992. I live in central New Jersey and hate the New York Giants. Always have, always will.     It was hell for me...

Eli Manning Says Giants Are Not a Dynasty

It is good to know that at least one quarterback in the NFC East knows the definition of a dynasty. Eli who has two more rings than any other quarterback in the division and doesn’t seem to have a problem with sticking his foot in his mouth like the others. Maybe that is the reason he has those two rings. Giants quarterback Eli Manning was asked on NFL AM whether the Giants...

Phil Simms Says Eli Manning is Already a Hall of Famer

Sort of a silly debate because Eli is only 31 years old. Technically, you could say he is entering his prime and already has two Super Bowl rings under his belt. Even if he never wins another ring he will pad his stats enough that he will go into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. But, it is fun for people to talk about if his career ended today would he get in or not. ...

Eli thinks backup David Carr should go topless like Tebow

Eli Manning said he isn't jealous of all of the attention the New York Jets are getting but— while the two-time Super Bowl won't go topless like the now-infamous Tim Tebow photo— the New York Giants starting quarterback thinks his backup, David Carr, should give it a shot to give the team more exposure.
