Found October 07, 2011 on The Rap Sheet:
Patriots coach Bill Belichick indicated during his press conference today that players were on the mend, and to that end, there were more encouraging signs out on the practice field today. As colleague Ian Rapoport reported from the lower practice field, defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth (back) , tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee), and defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion), returned for a second day of practice. That has to be considered a positive in terms of their status for Sunday’s game with the Jets. On the flipside, Belichick indicated Danny Woodhead (ankle) would give it a try pre-practice, but he was not out there for the media viewing portion. Wide receiver Julian Edelman (ankle), who walked through the locker room and didn’t appear to have a limp, also wasn’t present, according to Rapoport. Once again, linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee) and offensive lineman Sebastian Vollmer (back) did not participate.
