Ravens LB Ray Lewis finds himself under some scrutiny after it was alleged that the football star may have used deer antler supplements—which happen to be on the NFL banned substance list—to rehab his torn triceps muscle. When pressed about it at Super Bowl media day, Lewis vehemently denied taking the pills and spray derived from the velvet found on deer antlers. Whether he’s guilty or innocent of these allegations, this is definitely a distraction that neither Lewis nor the Ravens needed just days before Super Bowl XLVII, which is supposedly the final game in Lewis’ long and storied career. This also presents a problem for NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who must decide whether or not to investigate these claims against Ray Ray, or just put them on the back burner, hoping they go away once the big game is over and Lewis rides off into the sunset on the back of an antlerless deer. One thing’s for certain, if Goodell and Lewis had a text message conversation about the deer spray allegations, I doubt it would go anything like this, even though this would be infinitely more entertaining than an actual conversation between the two (via the always hilarious ProFootballMock)… Not sure why these NFL players are using deer antler extract to heal injuries anyway.  Everyone knows that ManBearPig spray, while much more difficult to obtain, is a million times more effective than deer antler spray. Science says so.   The post Fake text messages between Roger Goodell and Ray Lewis regarding deer antler spray are a riot appeared first on Last Angry Fan.
