Some Denver Broncos fans attending games at Sports Authority Field at Mile High have been dealing with a most unsettling and dreadfully unsanitary annoyance while sitting in their seats: pigeons have been pooping on them. According to reports, pigeons have nested in the overhand above Section 306 and have apparently been relieving themselves on unsuspecting [...]

  • I say reserve that section for Raider fans!!
  • birdi birdi in the sky drop some whitewash in my eye, g i'm glad that cows don't fly
  • Maybe the birds have been watching Denver play for the last several years. On the bright side they now have a fighting chance with Manning so things are looking up, just now the fans I hope.

Hey it could be worse you could be Raider fans. Now that’s something to be upset about.

The simple solution screen the area to prevent the birds from nesting there in the first place.
  • We all know about the "Cheapseats" but at $250 for each seat....I would call those real "CrappySeats"!
  • I would say the pigeons know a crap team when they see one!
  • ya cuz we all know the raiders are such a GREAT team lol.
    YEAH right!!!!
  • Careful raidernation88, your jealousy is showing, hahaha. Although you know something about crap teams, don't you? By the way, when a team wins, like the Broncos will be doing all season... not a crap team.
  • If you yahoos are paying $250 per seat, your not only being shat upon by the pigeons, but also the owners!
  • lmao
  • All kidding aside: pigeons droppings are full of bacterial, virus, and staph infection causing microbes. They have food service permits that in most states would be revoked for not addressing this problem! Unacceptable!
  • Why don't the Broncos get a small hawk like the one they use at Wimbledon to keep the pigeons away? It works for them.
  • Not sure why a wealthy team like the Broncos have not hired someone to "roof sit' for a couple of hours during their games to protect their valuable DEDICATED Fans.
  • Well if they did that we wouldn't have this highly entertaining and informative article now would we?
  • I have eliminated a few hundred of my pigeons in just a few days by catching them in my own pigeon trap. It saved me hundreds of $$$. Much easier that shooting them with my pellet gun.
  • Get it that the birds can be a real pain. But at the same time what are the maintenance staff to do, when you the fan sees one and reports it go running up and take care of it? Just how do you ask a pigeon to please leave and not come back?
