Since Maurice Clarett led the Ohio State Buckeyes to the BCS National Championship in 2002, he’s had an interesting life. He tried to challenge the NFL’s age limit (unsuccessfully), was drafted by the Denver Broncos into the NFL (only lasted one month), was convicted of robbery, was arrested after a high-speed car chase, and was imprisoned for four years. And apparently, through all of it, he’s remained loyal to his college coach – Jim Tressel. Clarett posted a photo of a tattoo of Tressel to his Instagram account Sunday morning. It’s not yet known whether the ink is his – but you get the sense that he still thinks very highly of his coach – he hashtags #livinglegend. Tressel works in the Akron athletic department, after he was let go by Ohio State after the tattoos-for-autographs scandal. How ironic. [The Big Lead]
