Before signing veteran defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy in late August, the Giants were aware Kennedy had failed a test to detect performance enhancing drugs and there was a chance he'd be suspended. On Tuesday, the NFL suspended Kennedy for four games. He is believed to have failed a test last season while playing for the Vikings. Kennedy, 31, appealed to the league about three weeks ago, an appeal that obviously was turned down. "That's a league issue between Jimmy Kennedy and the league," Tom Coughlin said yesterday. "We knew about it, we talked about it when he first came here, we were very much aware of the interview process one day when he wasn't available to us three weeks ago."

It’s Time For Giants to Give Scott a Shot
When you rank 31st in the league in rushing, you search high and low for answers. If you hear that a hot dog vendor can possibly help you, you go up in the stands and grab him.
This is the point the Giants are at right now. Their running game cannot get much worse. At 3.2 yards per carry, they aren’t scaring anyone. Throw in Brandon Jacobs‘ swollen knee and the injuries on the...
