The Ravens Torrey Smith has a very large amount of hair on his head and on Sunday the Bengals became very familiar with that hair. Check out the below GIF of Torrey Smith being “Hair-collared” by the Bengals Pacman Jones.

BAD HAIR DAY
This is what it looks like to get tackled by your dreadlocks. Probably didn't feel to good for Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith. At least three refs threw flags, but once they talked it over they realized it was his hair which is a legal tackle. The hair is considered part of the body in the NFL.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith broke free over the middle of the field on Sunday, and the only thing that kept him from streaking to paydirt was the clump of dreadlocks that Pacman Jones grabbed.
After the game, Smith admitted to wondering if the dreads were worth it. They did cost him a touchdown, and, one would imagine, some pain. From CSN Washington:

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith makes a nice catch over the middle, has some green in front of him, and possibly the endzone in his sights. Then came a sudden, searing scalp pain.
That's Adam Jones, the Pacman, making the perfectly legal follicular takedown. He never did anything that mean to Blinky or Clyde.

Live-blogging the early action, which featured two absolutely amazing games. Unfortunately, my connection was lousy on the Detroit-Carolina matchup, but we'll devote more time to that during the week. Notes and comments on every game of the early action:
My pick of the Bengals looking good early. Bengals defense holding Baltimore, Andy Dalton...
Rice rushes for two touchdowns, Torrey Smith has career receiving day vs. CincinnatiWith Ray Lewis waving a towel and exhorting the crowd from the sideline, two big second-half plays from the defense proved decisive in a game that the Ravens badly needed.
It wasn't pretty sans Ray Lewis, but Torrey Smith and the Ravens beat the Bengals 31-24 to grab first place. How long Lewis is out will decide Baltimore's final fate, says Chris Burke.
The Ravens used a 31-7 scoring run between the second quarter and the start of the fourth to overcome poor play to start and finish the game, hanging on in the final seconds to beat a very scrappy Cincinnati Bengals team by a final of 31-24. Unlike so many Ravens-Bengals games in the past that were dominated by defense or were just plain boring to watch, this one featured big play...

This week’s “Don’t Sleep” will be a little different. Rather than going over the players that you should be rushing to put a waiver claim in on, we will talk about the guys that likely cleared waivers that can still give you an edge this week in your fantasy matchup. Before we get into this picks...
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Playing without middle linebacker Ray Lewis for the first time in 58 games, the Baltimore Ravens turned to their offense in an important AFC North showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Joe Flacco and Torrey Smith did their part, and with help from a favorable replay call, the Ravens squeezed out a 31-24 victory Sunday.
Flacco threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns...
Matt Moore, Quarterback, Miami Dolphins. I know there's another quarterback out there leading his team to some unlikely wins, but let's unite as football fans to show some love for Matt Moore, too. He's like Tim Tebow, except he plays the quarterback position well. He's led the Dolphins to three straight wins, with a quarterback rating of 118.6 over those three...
