Everything is bigger in Texas, right Jerry Jones? That was true a few years back when the Dallas Cowboys opened their new stadium with what was then the largest in-stadium video screen in the world. The record has since been overtaken by a couple different places (one of the racetracks holds it now I think). The record will soon be back in Texas; more precisely it will belong to the Houston Texans. It's so we can see the fear in the eyes of QBs when they see this guy coming!!! The Houston Texans will soon have the largest video boards in the world installed at Reliant Stadium. They will be 53 feet tall and 277 feet wide (yeah, I'd say they qualify as fat). Top put the enormity of them into perspective for you--they are wider than the wing span of a 747 jet (that's big!).Oh--and for those that are curious; the ones that Jerry Jones installed up in Arlington are about 30 percent smaller (72 feet by 160 feet; slackers). The screens are expected to be up and ...

Houston Texans cheerleaders do the “Fandango” dance (VIDEO)

YouTube I hear that Fandango is a popular new wrestler in the WWE.  I hear that Mr. Fandango’s thing is his fancy entrance into the ring.  He comes out like he’s facing elimination on Dancing with the Stars.  Joined by a cutie-patootie salsa dancer, Fandango basically has her be the show as he feels his greased-up self up while performing a few pelvic thrusts.  It’s actually...

Texans new video boards to be world's largest

HOUSTON (AP) -- The Houston Texans are hoping their new HD video screens will help lure the 2017 Super Bowl to Reliant Stadium. The Texans are in the process of installing the video boards, which will be ready for use in Houston's first preseason game in August. Cowboys Stadium in Arlington currently has the biggest screens, and Houston's will be about 30 percent larger...

Houston Texans: 5 Most Memorable Draft Picks In Franchise History

The Houston Texans are a team quickly on the rise.  No longer can you pencil in the Patriots, Colts, and Steelers as the AFC’s Super Bowl representative. Unlike most teams in the league, the Texans do not have a glaring weakness. They have one of the league’s best rushing attacks as well as defensive units.  To make them even tougher to beat, they have a more than capable...

NFL events chief tours Houston

NFL vice president for events Frank Supovitz is in Houston for a visit to Reliant Stadium before next month's vote by owners on the sites for the 2016 and 2017 Super Bowls. Miami and San Francisco are in the running for the 2016 game - Super Bowl 50 - and the runner-up will compete with Houston for the game in the following year. The votes are expected at the NFL's spring...

Houston Texans: Is the Window Quickly Closing?

I seem to have rattled the cage this morning by suggesting that not only did I think the Texans were not a Super Bowl contender as currently constructed, but that they could be in a fight just to make the playoffs if they whiff in this year’s NFL Draft. Personally, I feel like this team had a window and they might have missed it. Do I believe it is permanently closed? Of course...

Browns Sign Kicker Shayne Graham

We now know who will be left with the difficult task of filling Pro Bowler and franchise staple Phil Dawson’s shoes. This evening, the Browns announced that they have signed kicker Shayne Graham to a contract. Graham is 35 and has kicked for 12 seasons with 8 different teams. His best seasons came with Cincinnati, where he played from 2003-2010, making the Pro Bowl in 2005. For...
