The time is almost here. The debut of the Andrew Luck lead Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football. It’s gonna be a good one; let’s look at a few points to take note of as we head into the game at San Diego.
San Diego hasn’t had had a lot of luck creating turnovers this year, nor has their defense been that great. The Colts should be able to take advantage of this whether through the air or on the ground.

Don’t be surprised if Trent Richardson has his breakout game this week. He has finally had some time with this offense now and is facing a less than mediocre defense.
Luck should have a nice game. As I said the defense in San Diego hasn’t been great and Luck has been. As long as Pep Hamilton doesn’t hold him back, that is.
Furthermore, this defense has looked great all season, especially in the secondary (as I predicted) and I expect it to continue this week. More turnovers coming in week 6 for this Colts defense.
Speaking of the defense, LaRon Landry is once again out this week. Hopefully he can return for the game against the Denver Broncos, though. Delano Howell has done a spectacular job filling in for Landry but the Colts could very much use his athleticism and tenacity on the field.
Something to note about the Broncos’ game: The Colts are playing a Monday night game, in California, heading into a short week against the Denver Broncos. Not a good sign, but this team has shown resilience in the face of adversity so I’m not too worried about it.
As long as the Colts don’t take the Chargers lightly after beating a good Seattle Seahawks team last week they should come out victorious this week. And then onto the game we’ve all been waiting for. Go Colts!
