Found December 27, 2013 on Sports Injury Alert:
This has been a season rife with injuries for the Indianapolis Colts, with their offensive line feeling the effects in the latter part of the year. Head coach Chuck Pagano is the NFL's version of MacGyver, turning paper clips and duct tape into an offensive line when under duress. The only player listed as out for the season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars is defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois. He is currently hampered by a foot injury, and has missed eight games this season with injury. Cornerback Vontae Davis has missed two practices this week, but was a full participant in today's walkthrough and is expected to play on Sunday. Greg Toler will suit up for the second consecutive week after missing seven games with a groin injury, giving a boost to the secondary. Guard/Center Mike McGlynn is doubtful with an elbow injury, and if he is to miss the game, this will be the sixth different offensive line in the last six games for the Colts. Somebody call Jeff Saturday a...

The most overrated player in the NFL?

I want to hit myself. No seriously, I want to hit myself in the face with a frying pan. I’ve always prided myself on being able to evaluate players and teams objectively. I don’t let ridiculous narratives play into my opinions, I never watch ESPN for more than highlights, and I once successfully engaged a former NBA Players Association executive in an argument about the futility...

Inconsistent Colts still find ways to win

The Colts keep giving mixed signals. They are beating some of the best teams in the NFL, knocking off four of the league's six clubs with four or fewer losses - two of them on the road. Yet Indy is ranked in the bottom half of the league in five of the six major offensive and defensive categories. So how good is this Indianapolis team? ''I think that remains to be...

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-11) at Indianapolis Colts (10-5) If you look at the season as a whole, the Jaguars are the worst team in the NFL. Their -182 point differential is worst in the NFL. Only Houston at -146 even comes close. Their 4-11 record is actually buoyed by a 4-2 record in games decided by a touchdown or less, as they’ve been blown out by double digits in 9 of their 11...
