Texans Gab:
Texans safety Danieal Manning fractured his tibia while making a leaping interception in the second quarter of Sunday’s win in Tennessee.
He was on crutches on the sideline in the second half, however, he remains optimistic that he’ll be able to return at some point this season.
“My gut feeling is that I’ll be back,” Manning said in an interview with SR610’s Rich Lord. “I feel like I heal pretty well. I haven’t had any major injuries thus far, and I don’t consider this being a major injury right now. All I’m hearing is positive, so the worst it may be – I guess, I don’t know – it may be 4-6 weeks.
“I don’t know. I really don’t know. We haven’t looked at it (enough). That’s what I’m hearing. I heard about these injuries before, and guys usually come back around that time. But I don’t know. Each case is different.”
