There was a time, a long time ago, that Houston Texans defensive end and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt was busy running away from tackles. When Watt left high school, he signed on at Central Michigan to be a tight end, but after transferring to Wisconsin, he began the transition to becoming one of the better defensive players in the B1G and then eventually, the NFL. But that doesn’t mean that Watt is ready to give up a dream of catching passes in the NFL. He is chomping at the bit to lineup on the other side of the ball, especially since his brief cameo at receiver in the Pro Bowl.
