The Penalty Flag:
Looking at Wes Welker’s numbers, you would expect him to receive a big payday this offseason. Welker has been the New England Patriots’ most productive receiver over the past five years but there are a couple of factors that may determine if he receives that big payday or not. Welker has caught at least 100 catches or more in four of the five years he has played in New England but how much of that production comes from playing in the Patriots system? The way he is utilized and of course having Tom Brady as your quarterback helps a lot in amassing impressive numbers like Welker’s. It also doesn’t hurt having all of the other talented receivers around like Deion Branch, Randy Moss, Rob Gronkowski, and Aaron Hernandez over the years. Welker usually lines up off the line which helps him avoid getting jammed at the line of scrimmage allowing him to get into his routes seamlessly. Why is it so important to keep him off the line? Well that’s another one of those factors that teams will look at when deciding how much to pay him. Welker is only 5’9”. While being that short has never been a detriment [...]

Wes Welker is used to being overlooked.
He's 5-foot-9. He wasn't drafted. His 11 catches couldn't prevent a Super Bowl loss four years ago. And in the run up to Sunday's rematch against the New York Giants, the New England Patriots wide receiver is getting little attention.
Welker's NFL-leading 122 receptions were in the shadow of the spotlight-filling injured...
If you thought the Patriots schadenfreude hit its peak with a company dumping 8,000 Butterfinger candy bars in Boston to mock Wes Welker’s drop, you were wrong. Our friends at Busted Coverage drew our attention to “Bradying,” which apparently is the latest social media picture-taking trend.
Much like Tebowing or even Gronking, Bradying involves posing with your legs stretched...
Over 8,000 pounds of Butterfingers candy bars were delivered by a company called Pawngo to Boston’s Copley Square on Tuesday, a gesture mocking New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker for his dropped pass during the fourth quarter of the team’s 21-17 Super Bowl XLVI loss to the New York Giants on Sunday night.

Those affiliated with the New England Patriots got egg on their face in two major town squares yesterday. A sign saying “thank you Wes Welker” accompanied 8,000 Butterfinger bars placed in the middle of Boston’s Copley Square. And in New York City, Massachusetts native, Extra host and Greek goddess of sexy abs/legs Maria Menounos paid up on the bet she lost; much to the delight...
There were more key plays than Mario Manningham's catch and Wes Welker's drop
Gisele did more than console her husband Tom Brady after the Patriots’ Super Bowl loss. She also stood up for him against hecklers.
Gisele was leaving her luxury box when a New York Giants fan started hurling taunts her way: “Eli rules! Eli owns your husband!”
The Brazilian supermodel was waiting for an elevator when she snapped back, ripping the Patriots’ receivers in the...
While Giants fans celebrated their victory at the Parade in New York City – Boston locals got a 900 pound sweet surprise courtesy of Pawngo in the center of Copley Square in the heart of Boston. 900 pounds, or 8,000 bars of Nestle Butterfingers were piled high with a sign entitled, “Thank you Wes Welker” - making everyone in the area stop to take pictures, grab a bar...
Victory isn't the only thing that's sweet.
Colorado-based online pawn shop Pawngo.com left 900 pounds of Butterfingers candy bars in Boston's Copley Square on Tuesday to mock the New England Patriots.
