This may serve as a lesson not to wear dreadlocks in the NFL.
Jaguars defensive end Jason Babin ripped a clump of dreads from Andre Ellington‘s head. We can only assume this happened on a -1 yard reception by the Cardinals running back with about three minutes left in the third quarter. Babin made the tackle on that play.
Check out Babin holding Ellington’s dreads like a prize in the photo below.

On a third-quarter Ellington carry that went for no gain, the Arizona rookie was brought down by his dreads by Jacksonville defensive end Jason Babin. The problem wasn't the tackle, which was legal; it was that...
I've always wondered why in the world some of the guys in the NFL would play with such long hair sticking out of the back of their helmets. It's just asking to be ripped out by defenders when they go for a tackle or at the bottom of a pile just because they can. Since hair is considered part of the uniform why not?@SBNationGIF/TwitterCardinals running back Andre Ellington...

H/T Big Lead
Twitter blew up after Jacksonville Jaguars DE Jason Babin ripped out Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington's dreadlocks.
[via]Nobody’s watching it, but the Jacksonville/Arizona game isn’t as terrible as people probably thought it would be. There has been some scattered competence on the part of both teams, most notably on the defensive side of the ball. Both teams are struggling to get any kind of running game going against surprisingly stout defensive fronts and that’s not just because Arizona...

Remember last year when Taylor scored 138 points. Looks like he’s back at it again. We obviously don’t hold as much weight to these feats because it’s like Division 40, but still it must be fuggin’ tiring to score that many points in a game. Kudos to Taylor regardless of the division.
