Via Holdout Sports:

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was invited to lead the Chicago Cubs fans in singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during Saturday's game at Wrigley Field against the Arizona Diamondbacks, and it was pretty awful.

Cutler's singing was pretty monotone and mostly off-key, and he showed no enthusiasm and didn't smile at all. Cutler appeared to go through the motions as if he couldn't wait until the song was over so he could get out of there.

  • Good thing he can play football, sure can't sing.
  • thats even more funny to think he can play football he sucks and he is a cry baby who doesn't play thru pain
  • Is this guy good at anything?
  • who said he could play football. cutlers a puke
  • What intern wrote these two paragraphs. They were awful. How do you know he wanted to get out of there? Were you there? Are you a mindreader? Maybe he was nervous. It is a well known fact ( if you bothered to do any research) that he doesn't like to do this kind of stuff. He is very uneasy in the public eye. The press always harps on him for not caring. He is just incredibly laid back. Give the guy a break. He doesn't beat his girlfriend, or smash his Lamborghini in a DUI accident, or get caught with weed or coke. Have you seen some of the past "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" performances? Look up Mike Ditka, and Ozzy Osbourne. Jay was nothing compared to them. The Cubs should retire this stupid idea anyway. It has run its course.
  • U guys disin in culter r a bunch of pukes. ur just jealous u don't have his talent.
  • they should have a celebrity sing occassionally, but why not just play a recording of Harry Caray singing? He was a celebrity with personality!!

Jay Cutler Gives Chicago Fans Another Reason to Grimace With 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' Debacle (Video)

If Chicago fans think Jay Cutler is bad at football, then they should see him sing. The Bears quarterback headed to Wrigley Field on Saturday to watch the Cubs take on the Diamondbacks. While the ballplayers got their part of the job done, beating Arizona 4-1, Cutler left a few fans wanting when he took the microphone for a rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." Cutler...

Take Me Out To The Whatever I Don’t Care

Jay Cutler was the Cubs’ special guest to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” on Saturday. You have to hand it to Cutty; he really Jay Cutlers the sh*t out of this song. I feel like even if he mumbled this in his sleep, it wouldn’t be as lackadaisical. That’s true commitment to not caring. With some performers, their lack of energy doesn’t translate to the live show,...

The Bears hammer out a last second long term deal with RB Matt Forte

CHICAGO—Matt Forte’s contract saga was only second to Drew Brees’ in terms of the stakes and the drama that was involved. Jay Cutler destroys 'Take me out to the ballgame' at Wrigley

Jay Cutler sings "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at Wrigley as only Jay Cutler can

Jay Cutler is one of the most polarizing figures in sports.  Wether it's trying to decipher his toughness, his moodiness, his body language, his personal life, or his ability to be an elite quarterback, there has been no shortage of debate over Cutler.  Although, when you leave an NFC Championship Game due to a non-obvious injury, generaly seem like your sulking your way...

Video: Bears QB Jay Cutler Sings Take Me Out to the Ball Game at Wrigley Field

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler led the Chicago Cubs faithful in ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ at Wrigley Field today and he butchered it. I’m still amazed every time someone can’t even remember the words. C’mon Jay, you’re better than that.

Don’t Sleep On: Jay Cutler

I've got my favorite toy back T...   2011 Recap:  Cutler was having his “best year” as a Bear before injuring his thumb, as in his 10 games he had 2,319 yards passing, 13 TDs, and 7 INTs.  This was only good for 20th best points per game for QBs.  A very low end QB2, but considering the pile of crap at WR, it was promising.  He made big strides in his decision making...

Earl Bennett: Jay Cutler is better than Aaron Rodgers

Getty Images Chicago Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett told Adam Schein of Sirius XM NFL Radio (via NFL.com) that he believes quarterback Jay Cutler is better than Aaron Rodgers of the Packers. “We have the top running back arguably in the league, top quarterback, the receiving corp is deep,” Bennett said. “So you think Cutler is better than Aaron Rodgers?” Schien asked...

Did Jay Cutler Have The Worst Rendition Of ‘Take Me Out To The Ballgame’ Of All-Time?

"Buy me some Smirnoff Ice and Armani slacks, I don't care if I *mumble mumble*, bro." Forgive me for that headline, as hyperbole usually isn’t in my wheelhouse, but holy Harry Caray, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler did a number on the classic Wrigley Field 7th inning stretch on Saturday. Our beloved J-Cutty was on hand at the Friendly Confines to throw out the...

Jay Cutler Sings Like He Plays

Our best sad faced quarterback in the division is get some heavy **** going on in his life right now. He's get his lady friend Kristin Cavallari knocked up, they got a baby bro on the way, he still plays on a ****** Chicago Bears team, and he apparently cheers for the Chicago Cubs. BOOOO! So I can understand why his rendition here of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" is...

Chicago Bears Film Study: Sacks allowed in Week 2 vs. Saints

There's been a lot of discussion amongst Bears fans, experts, and analysts about the Chicago Bears' offensive line and the lack of pass protection. There's been equal discussion about Mike Martz's offense and the seven step drop and the lack of protection schemes in Martz's offense. Almost all of that discussion has been just that, discussion with no visual...

Earl Bennett: Jay Cutler is best QB in the NFL, better than Aaron Rodgers

Earl Bennett and Jay Cutler have a relationship that dates back to college, where the two played together at Vanderbilt. This season, the Bears would like to get more out of both of them. Bennett’s production was solid in 2009 when Cutler first arrived in Chicago. He caught 54 balls for 717 yards that season, but he has fallen off a bit over the past couple seasons and totaled...
