BREAKING ON SPORSTCENTER: Jeff Fisher agrees to become the next head coach of the St. Louis Rams

Per Adam Schefter at ESPN.

Quote: Source said Jeff Fisher is making sure he has ideal situation. "This is not about money, not about negotiating. This is about winning." Now don't the Miami Dolphins look a little silly now eh? I really thought Fisher was going to go Miami.

Fisher has a career record of 147-126 as a head coach. His 147 career wins rank 3rd among active NFL head coaches, trailing only Bill Belichick and Mike Shanahan.

At more than 16 full seasons, Fisher had been the longest-tenured NFL head coach with one team among active head coaches.

A native of Southern California, Fisher starred as a high school All-American wide receiver at Taft High School in Woodland Hills.
