The New York Jets have selected Baylor running back Terrance Ganaway with their second pick in the sixth round of the NFL draft. Ganaway, taken 202nd overall on Saturday, set Baylor's single-season marks with 1,547 yards rushing and 21 rushing touchdowns last year as a senior. At 5-foot-11 and 240 pounds, Ganaway is a thickly built and powerful runner who adds depth to new offensive coordinator Tony Sparano's run-first offense. The Jets drafted Wake Forest safety Josh Bush earlier in the round Saturday with their first pick of the day. The Jets also had the next pick - the 203rd selection - and two seventh-round picks.

Tebow makes top 100 players list

The NFL Network listed Tim Tebow as one of the 100 best players in the NFL. Mark Sanchez did not make the list.

New York Jets select Stephen Hill, Grade A

The New York Jets needed to upgrade their receiving corps, and they got a guy who can make an impact immediately and who also has a ton of upside. Stephen Hill has the potential to be an immediate deep threat, and should play a role very similar to the one Torrey Smith played in Balitmore as a rookie last year. Like Smith, Hill has a long way to go before he’s a polished product...

There’s Now a Bounty on Tim Tebow’s Virginity

New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow‘s virginity being worth an estimated one million dollars. That’s right, the good guy himself is supposedly saving himself for marriage due to his religious beliefs, but not everyone really buys that. happen to be some of those that are skeptical of this whole situation. The web site which [...]

Optimism for Jets after drafting impact players

(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By DENNIS WASZAK Jr. AP Sports Writer Rex Ryan wanted impact players out of the NFL draft, and the New York Jets coach thinks he got his wish. So much so that Ryan already has declared - although later backing off - big defensive lineman Quinton Coples and speedy wide receiver Stephen Hill starters for a team determined to get back...

Jets compare Stephen Jones to Calvin Johnson

The New York Jets were able to land Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill in the second round of this year’s NFL draft. They like him so much that he reminds them of former Georgia Tech receiver and current Detroit Lion, Calvin Johnson. “He’s unique. He’s a 6-4 kid that’s 215 and runs a 4.32. I mean he’s a unique athlete, he really is. I mean, Calvin Johnson, maybe...

The New York Jets Twitter Account Congratulated Every Other Team On Their Picks Last Night! Even the Pats!

This is despicable! Who ever was responsible for tweeting out congratulations last night to each and every NFL team on their draft pick should be locked in a cold basement with only a keg and a sleeping-bag for 3 nights.  The tweet that seems that sticks out as the most horrid is the one to the Patriots.  Why would you even acknowledge anything that your biggest rival does? ...

Initial Reaction – New York Jets 2012 Draft Class

The New York Jets left the 2012 NFL Draft with eight selected players. Many of the team’s decisions were somewhat surprising and fairly questionable. However, they did get good value in a few situations. Throughout the week we will be breaking down each player in-depth, looking at where they could fit in 2012 and beyond, along with plenty more. For now here are a few initial...

Tim Tebow Spells R.I.P.For The J-E-T’s Season

Trading for Tim Tebow was purely a football move…just like Kim Kardashian marrying Kris Humphries was purely for love. This is the notion that Jets brass has been trying to sell football fans for weeks, but no one’s buying it. What Gang Green fans are buying however, is a multitude of “15” jerseys and those hallowed PSL’s – which is exactly why this trade was made in...

Rex Ryan in Same Coaching Class As Bill Belichick

Bill Belichick vs. Rex Ryan who is really better?   Ok so I wrote this because I’m getting tired of everyone saying how bad of a coach Rex Ryan is. So I thought who better to compare him to then the best Head Coach in the NFL. I’m going to go over quite a few things  such as regular season wins, playoffs wins, and how both coaches made it to where they are at today. I will...

New York Jets Select WR Stephen Hill

The New York Jets have swapped 2nd round picks with Seattle to select WR Stephen Hill out of Georgia Tech. Hill gives the Jets the deep threat their offense has been lacking at Wide Receiver since the departure of Braylon Edwards. At 6’4″ 215 lbs, Hill is an athletic freak, having run a 4.36 40-yard dash at the combine, which is remarkable considering his size. A big play specialist...
