Joe Flacco has never received a ton of attention from the media during his five-year career with the Baltimore Ravens, and there are a number of reasons why. First and foremost, he is not flashy. Flacco has never thrown more than 25 touchdowns or less than 10 interceptions in a season, so his stats have never been outstanding. But for the most part, he has been able to find ways to win. This season, those winning ways have led the Ravens to the Super Bowl. Flacco is finally getting some of the attention many believe he deserves, but he’ll still likely never be Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers when it comes to ESPN coverage. During an interview with the New York Times, Flacco’s father Steve offered some thoughts on why that might be the case. “Joe is dull,” Steve Flacco said. “As dull as he is portrayed in the media, he’s that dull.
