The Denver Broncos' defensive secondary had a big day Sunday with safety Rahim Moore and cornerbacks Chris Harris and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie responsible for three of the team's four interceptions. The unit that has been banged up and missing leader CB Champ Bailey helped the Broncos rout the Redskins 45-21. Coach John Fox was happy with the play and that the secondary is slowly getting healthy.

Within the next few weeks the Denver Broncos will play the Chiefs, not once but twice. The Chiefs fans aren’t giving Peyton Manning and his Broncos team any chance at winning. They call the Broncos donkeys and they try to say the only reason Denver is 7-1 is because they faced a weaker schedule this season. USA Sports 360 picked the Broncos to hand the Chiefs their first loss...
The Broncos offense has scored 40 touchdowns through the first eight weeks of the season which is the most in NFL history. Some of those touchdowns came from Peyton’s security blanket and newly discovered Julius Thomas. Well today Julius Thomas will be at the doctor’s office getting an MRI on his ankle. On the opening […]
Knowshon Moreno was one of the most hated Broncos players last year, before Peyton Manning arrived in town. Now he is known as one of the top fantasy backs in the NFL. The Denver Broncos running back put up 133 all-purpose yards and scored a touchdown in the Week 8 win over the Washington Redskins. […]
Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas has had a break out year this year and has been a huge target for Peyton Manning. Thomas is big and and fast and he is a matchup nightmare for defenses. Last week when the Broncos were facing the Redskins Thomas went down with an ankle injury and it looked to be somewhat serious. Ankle injuries can be tricky to deal with because of how nagging...
While the Denver Broncos are 7-1 and are only one game behind the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West, they have shown chinks in their once thought impregnable armor recently. The Broncos entertained the idea of losing a second game in-a-row, but ultimately rattled off 38 unanswered points to easily dispose of the turnover heavy Washington Redskins. The Broncos bright...
Montee Ball was known at Wisconsin as a reliable, durable running back, not a fumbler. In 924 carries he coughed it up just twice, and one of those came when he was knocked cold.
So, when he matched that total in the NFL in just 31 carries, alarm bells went off around Denver Broncos headquarters.
Running backs coach Eric Studesville soon found the flaw and offered a subtle solution...
The Broncos are very fortunate that the ankle injury that TE Julius Thomas suffered on Sunday was not a high ankle sprain.
Just left the facility MRI showed it wasn't a high ankle sprain so I won't be down long. Be back soon #CantWait

In a game Denver needed to win to gain back some of the incredible momentum they had built up prior to the surprising defeat in Indy last week, the Broncos started fast, stalled, and then finally looked like the team that was a pre-season super bowl favorite. There are still some problems that need to be addressed, but the game was nearly exactly what the team needed. The...
In a mild surprise, given the extent of the left leg injuries he suffered two weeks ago, Orlando Franklin was the Broncos' starting right offensive tackle Sunday.
"It tells you we've got some tough guys on this team," Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said.
And Manning is one of them. He suffered an ankle injury two games ago while getting hit in the end zone...
Robert Griffin III's right knee was surgically repaired and rehabbed back to full strength during this past offseason. His left knee prevented him from finishing Sunday's 45-21 loss to the Broncos.
The second-year quarterback was knocked out in the fourth quarter and was immediately listed as questionable to return. He never did.
Head coach Mike Shanahan said that Griffin...
The first four games of the season, the Broncos were unbeatable. The second four games, Denver was lucky to only lose one game. Although the Denver Broncos go into the bye week and the second half of the season 7-1, they will have to play much better to make it the Super Bowl. The Broncos […]
This was never going to be the type of trade market in which the Broncos would take part.
"Everybody wants to trade somebody that's going to be a free agent," said John Elway, the Broncos' director of football operations. "I'm not going to give up a draft pick for eight games."
The NFL trading deadline expired at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Broncos standing...
In an unexpected twist, Peyton Manning was the one who needed some bailing out.
On a day when the Denver Broncos quarterback threw three interceptions and lost a fumble, Von Miller and the defense stepped up in a 45-21 win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
The much-maligned defensive unit - last in the league against the pass - harassed Robert Griffin III all afternoon. The...
