Former NFL head coach and current ESPN Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden was a special guest at Gateway Bank’s Friday tailgate event in Ocala, Florida. Despite a successful broadcasting career, gruden did make it clear he would like to coach again. “I haven’t lost a game in 3½ years,” he said via Ocala.com. “But no, I would like to give coaching one more try.” Things have changed a lot over the past five years in the NFL. It would be interesting to see if Gruden could still have success. Need NFL Tickets? Loading... The Oakland Raiders Friday injury report is now in and it indeed looks like they will be without the services of several offensive linemen for the Sunday game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cam Newton learned the hard way Thursday night that even near the end of a blowout win, you have to keep your head on a swivel.
With Newton’s Panthers up big on the Buccaneers late in the fourth quarter and Raymond James Stadium nearly empty, the end zone cannon (similar to the muskets shot off at Patriots games) went off, scaring the bejesus out of the quarterback.
Superman, my ass. Cam Newton was scared by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pirate ship that shoots off cannons during their games.
I don’t blame Cam. Those cannons normally only go off after scoring plays…which rarely happen in Tampa.
