What's wrong with this picture? Patriots' Aaron Hernandez is arrested on murder charges. Goes to jail, gets released by team.  Browns' Ausar Walcott gets arrested for attempted murder. Gets released by team. Cowboys' Josh Brent gets arrested on intoxication manslaughter charges. Winds up on team sideline during a game. Does Jerry Jones have integrity, or what? We're thinking, "or what." OK, we know what you're thinking: what is this and where's our regular Juice This? Well, here we go... *** HE SAID, HE SAID, HE SAID, HE...  Police and prosecutors in the Aaron Hernandez case are relying on first-hand information that a witness and possible co-conspirator (they were formerly called flankers) is saying that another witness and possible co-conspirator told the other witness and co-conspirator that the main witness and possible co-conspirator is the one who shot the deceased. And dropped the ball thrown over his wrong shoulder. Got all that? *** STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES Roger Goodell and his NFL executive brotherhood are flexing their mind muscles. Yes, in an effort to upgrade the league's image, they're considering banning players from the famed and totally overrated NFL Combine. That is, players who are academically ineligible for their varsity rosters. In other words, you must have a 2.0 to play. This excludes SEC teams and other teams being guided by former SEC coaches (hello, Columbus). *** TOP 10, 9, 8, 7 ... David Letterman's Top 10 list of ESPN's lowest-rated programs (that makes sense, right?) included "Mike and Mike In The Shower" and concluded with list-winner, "The Joe Theismann Prostate Report." Which reminds me, I've got to reorder. P.S. ESPN's rating's were off 32 percent in prime time last quarter. The network is blaming it on Yasiel Puig not being called up soon enough. *** MY ROD AND THY STAFFORD, THEY COMFORT ME Matthew Stafford is saying it's all about winning in the wake of his signing a 3-year, $53.5-million contract extension with the Lions. If he had that money his first four years in the league, it would've worked out to roughly $2.4 million per win, a pace it would appear he can no doubt maintain easily over the course of the new contract. *** URBAN RENEWAL How many times do we have to remind you that it was Urban Meyer who turned on buddy Bill Belichick to tight end Aaron Hernandez? The question, Buckeye fans, is: will Meyer win two national titles there more quickly than it took him at Florida (6 years) to have 25 players arrested 31 times? *** A KRAFT WORK ORANGE Twelve hundred Aaron Hernandez jerseys were exchanged by Patriots fans at the team's gift shop. It wasn't enough though - there were pending orders online for 5,000 . . . Patriots owner Robert Kraft is saying that Hernandez 'duped' the team when they drafted and signed him. It's sort of the same way Kraft duped the players in the last CBA negotiations . . . About the same time that Colin Kaepernick was telling the world to 'chillax' when he was seen wearing a Dolphins hat, Jim Harbaugh and Trent Baalke were on the phone to Kansas City begging Alex Smith's forgiveness.
