kenny britt titans 300x205 Kenny Britt is a prolific receiver, but was Britt drafted too early? In the 2009 draft, the Tennessee Titans selected Kenny Britt 30th overall in the first round. Kenny Britt was drafted at 20 years old  and his immaturity has shown with all of his off-field issues. In April 12, 2011, Britt was arrested in New Jersey on three counts, including a felony, of an alleged car chase. The sentence was reduced on June 7, 2011 and the next day Britt was arrested for resisting arrest. On July 20, 2012, Kenny Britt was arrested for an alleged DWI charge and was suspended this season for one game, because of the charge.… Read more

Britt to return for Titans, Washington may be out

The Tennessee Titans will get a star receiver back on Sunday but might be playing without another top one when they visit San Diego. Kenny Britt, who sat out the season-opening 34-13 loss to New England because of a one-game suspension he received for an offseason arrest on suspicion of DWI, will return to action for the first time in almost exactly a year after suffering a season...

Titans' Britt to see limited action in his first game Sunday

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt returned to practice Wednesday after missing the first game because of a one-game suspension, and he is expected to see only limited action in Sunday's game against San Diego. Titans coach Mike Munchak said Britt will play in the "15- to 25-snap range," according to The Tennessean. Besides the one-game suspension that resulted...

Kenny Britt will have a limited role this Sunday

Now that Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has served his one game suspension, he’ll  be back in action on Sunday as Titans will face off against the Chargers. The Titans don’t plan on throwing Britt right back onto the field without slowly working him in, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson said he believes that the only reason he is so heavily criticized is the big contact he signed.

Elbow infection almost cost Javon Ringer his arm

Injuries are an ever present part of football on all levels, and while every player understands the risk they take by stepping onto the field, the price that Javon Ringer came close to paying is something that no athlete could ever expect. After getting scratched on his elbow recently, an infection developed, and according to doctors treating him, the Titans running back very nearly...

CJ: Career-worst 4 yards on 11 carries looks bad

Titans running back Chris Johnson knows the numbers look pretty bad. The man nicknamed CJ2K for his 2,006-yard rushing season in 2009 started this season with just 11 carries for a career-worst 4 yards in a 34-13 loss to New England. As bad as last season was after his holdout for a contract extension, Johnson never ran for less than 13 yards in a game. Johnson said Thursday he...

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Kenny Britt is on the field once again for the Tennessee Titans, back both from a torn right ACL and three different knee surgeries and a one-game suspension by the NFL. How much he helps remains to be seen. Britt tore both his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligament early in the Titans' third game last season. He had little practice time with...

After a game in which he had four yards on eleven carries, Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson called his day “frustrating” (Credit: AP Photo) After a let down of a season in 2011, the Titans and Chris Johnson himself were hoping he would turn back into his old self in 2012. QUICK SPIN: Confusion on Nate Washington…

There is a bit of a controversy brewing here that shouldn't be overlooked because of the implications to the Titans. Nate Washington hasn't practiced this week and is officially listed as questionable with a calf injury but there are rumors that there was indeed no calf injury at all but a concussion.
