Found August 31, 2012 on NFL Draft Zone:

Per a league source, both Ryan Davis and Kevin Elliott of the Jacksonville Jaguars are safe on the 53 man roster.  As we know things change all the time, but per a source close to both, Davis and Elliott were in the meetings this morning, while others were being released.  This would be huge news if both Elliott and Davis make the squad in J-Ville and contribute, because they are paving the way for others from the HBCU.

Davis was a sacking machine at Bethune-Cookman while Elliott was one of the most under rated wide outs in the MEAC last year.  Elliott and Davis have both shined this preseason and look like they will be safe for another day.

I am hearing Aaron Morgan is also a lock on the roster, per a close source to him.

Stay tuned for more news……
