PLAYERS: Tim Tebow
TEAMS: New York Jets

Has Tim Tebow’s popularity out-grown the NFL’s? The latest headlines are the quarterback has been black-balled by NFL team’s because of his cult like following. When Tebow was at the height of his career with the Denver Broncos, the nation and everyone in it was Tebowing all over the town. Now that the Tebow-mania has died down, it seems as though his popularity is fading quickly.  At least where the NFL is concerned. Tebow’s days as an NFL quarterback might be over. Now that the Jets have released him, Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports, is saying he is Black-balled. Silver blames it in his cult like following and the media frenzy. Is this guy for real. What NFL team doesn’t want a media frenzy? These teams love the publicity. At least when it comes to their team’s. The real problem could be, Tebow takes the focus off the team. Others in the franchise get left behind. These others are obviously  jealous of Tebow. You can say what you want to about Tebow, but you can’t say he wasn’t a positive influence in the NFL. The league needs more guys like him. He isn’t running all over town, killing people because of drunk driving accidents and he isn’t shooting his girl friend to death. If the NFL had more players with the values of a Tim Tebow, the league would be nothing but a positive influence on young people. This is the kind of image one would think the NFL wanted to project. Not the one we see everyday. For some reason, a guy like Tebow doesn’t fit in. The League and its coaches need to re-access their core values. Tebow should be a positive example. Instead, the league is happy to see him go. What is wrong with this picture?

  • All I got to say is Tim Tebow is a good quarterback and could be one of the greats if he was worked with and given a chance. When he was at Denver he led them to the playoffs, the problem there was Elway didn't want to be showed up and so they got rid of him. I just don't see why a team don't pick him up and have a veteran work with him and make him a better passer. Then about him being a Christian, I am proud to see a NFL player speak out about his beliefs. As a Christian, to have someone speak out like that makes the whole Christian community jump with joy. We are proud to have Tim Tebow on our team and would get rid of him for nothing. The NFL needs not to be like the NBA and Accept TEBOW for who he is and not turn his back on him. I know that the Christian community hasn't and won't and are praying that he will just do the work of our Lord and Savior.
  • I fail to understand what Tim Tebow's religion (not "cult like following")has to do with his football abilities, however it seems that you can't be a great player unless you deny God as so many have. I do, however feel that whatever Tim does from here, he will be fine. He is multi-talented man and will excel in whatever he does. Any loss is to the Broncos, the Jets and all other teams that fail to recognize his ability. God Bless him for being so outspoken in his love for Jesus Christ.
  • THE NFL “Black-Balling” OF TIM TEBOW- of which -> the Problem is of an NFL Wide Orchestration:
Now -> No One NOW has the GUTs to give Tim Tebow a FAIR SHOT !

Logic, Truth, and a Candid Reality Check!!
The only significant element of the advertised “Polarizing of Tim Tebow”->

(NewSpeak Code Word “Polarizing” meaning “Too MUCH CHRISTIAN !”)

That could cause such an almost conspiratorial blanket affect of Hate on TT,
is his consistent unashamed BOLD expression of his Faith in his Lord and Saviour “Jesus Christ”.

All the continual negative Hate tirades that are consistently emanating – from so many diverse
Sources -> having nothing close to being in common, except that and that alone!

Although they try to couch it with other variables that were previously common to many players – who had minimal attacks on them and No Real Hate continually dumped upon them from the NFL to the News Media. Even to the extreme example of the Late Night TV comedian that said if he had the choice between shooting Ben Liden or Tim Tebow in the head, he would have difficulty deciding which one to kill.??

In reality this is really an all out campaign of EVIL that is sourced right out of the PIT OF HELL and is directly related to Spiritual Warfare.

Those of us that are Christians Should Take a Stand, and if this Garbage continues, and Tim Tebow is NOT given a fair chance this SEASON:
Consider this Process -> How about SOME REAL..> Truth and JUSTICE?

For: Ignorance is not always bliss..
    And: Choices do have Consequences..>
Luke 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

It is NOT in Tim Tebow’s hands, BUT know it – Justice will Prevail!
And There are SOME BROTHERS IN CHRIST WHO WILL SUPPORT HIM !!

**WE SHOULD START A BOYCOTT OF THE NFL!! **
(They do understand the loss of $$)

    – Many of US have had enough, of the disparity of treatment that the Perverts, Murderers, Drug addicts, and other Convicted Criminals of NFL PLAYERs get that, many times, seems much more favorable TREATMENT than that the HATE Campaign against Tim Tebow has given him!

Absolutely and Only because of his BOLD,
Un-ashamed STAND FOR JESUS CHRIST. Enough is Enough !!

BOYCOTT THE NFL - UNTIL THIS HATE CAMPAIGN AGAINST TIM CEASES !
  • Let's get real about the whole thing. Number(1) is that if Tebow was black, he would have been signed, worked with on developing his skills to fit the NFL and by now would be a terrific acquisition for some team with a real nice paycheck. It's not like he doesn't have the skillset to make it. Look at all the accolades and trophies (including the most coveted-The Heisman) he received while playing for one of the elite university programs in the country. Number(2), the real reason that he has been "blackballed" is the fact that he is a true Christian and not just one on gameday and that makes the hypocrits uneasy knowing that he sees who they really are. It truly is sad and downright shameful when such a high caliber young man as he or anyone else is degraded, made fun of and just plain hated for his committment to God. These pro players are being arrested for drugs, DUI's, domestic violence and outright murder on a daily basis and much of it is covered up. But, Tim Tebow can kneel on the field and he gets ripped apart for it. These are truly strange times we are living in.

Tim Tebow isn't good enough to be a distraction

Is Tim Tebow being blackballed by the NFL? The short and simple answer is that Tim Tebow is not good enough as a player to be a distraction in the NFL, and the media circus around him is a distraction. There's no question Tim Tebow is one of the biggest media stories as an athlete. Forbes just named him America's most influential athlete. The Onion just named him America...

Tim Tebow may longer be part of the New York Jets, but that doesn't mean he's still can't make headlines in the Big Apple.

Tim Tebow: My Savior

“I promise you one thing. A lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season. You will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season. You will never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season.” Click here to view the video...

Tim Tebow Should Give The Arena League A Call

The day and age of the religiously praised former 1st round pick, Tim Tebow, had quickly come to an end in the National Football League. After being cut by the Jets, none of the remaining 31 teams have shown any interest in the former first round pick. No offers from any teams to officially be welcomed to training camp, to see if he can still be a quality backup?  Ouch. The part...

NFL Fines the Entire Internet For Excessive Celebration and Taunting of Tim Tebow

Tebow learns from Jay and Silent Bob that the internet is a place where people slander each other anonymously and share pornography. Nine days ago the internet became a fast moving, petty hate machine that was destined to destroy Tim Tebow after he was cut by the New York Jets. The hate kept growing and literally turned into a form of adult bullying so gross that it made even the...

Tisch blames Jets for Tebow fall

Over the last 16 months, Tim Tebow has gone from leading the Denver Broncos to the NFL playoffs to looking for a job after being released by the New York Jets. There are several reasons Tebowmania never quite panned out on the field, but according to one rival owner who knows a thing or two about the New York market, the Jets -- the team with which his shares a stadium -- may be...

Tim Tebow's Biggest Supporters Are Ruining Him

As the man who compiles Football Nation's Top 100 Quarterbacks Since the Merger list, I'd be lying if I said Tebow was, at this time, qualified for the list. The No. 100 entry, Gus Frerotte, had a rather distinguished career as a journeyman backup, and was one of the best seventh round picks in recent memory.Tebow, to my way of thinking, hasn't quite done enough to surpass...
