Mark Sanchez reportedly began being booed by Jets fans at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on Sunday as the Jets struggled against the 49ers. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News tweeted that fans began booing Sanchez during the Jets’ second drive of the third quarter. Mehta said the boos were even louder a play later after the offense went 3-and-out following an incompletion from Sanchez. At that point in the third quarter, the Jets were losing 10-0 at home to the 49ers. Sanchez was 7/17 for 75 yards and an interception. The offense only produced 113 yards and turned the ball over three times through that point. Ready to see the truly sickening stat? Here’s how their drives had ended to that point:punt, punt, fumble, punt, fumble, interception, puntAs soon as the Jets acquired Tim Tebow, many figured that would lead to a quarterback controversy and that the former Broncos QB would eventually become the Jets starter. Tebow threw his first pass of the season on a jump pass e...

It may be time for the Jets to bench Mark Sanchez
The San Francisco 49ers are a good football team, but that's no excuse for laying a goose egg on offense.
That's exactly what the New York Jets did earlier today when they were whipped in every phase of the game by the 49ers, losing by a score of 34-0.
There's two big story lines in this game for the Jets. Their defense was awful once again this week. It's difficult...
Mark Sanchez’s most frightening statistic
I’m moving on from Revis. It sucks. They can’t replace him. We know that. Everyone knows it. Sh*t happens. Fine. Done.
And, yes, the Jets receiving “corps” looks more like a collection of guys playing a pick-up game than any capable band of brothers. Still, this team is 2-1. It’s been a whacky beginning of the season. Nobody has looked unbeatable. You’re playing at home...
Jets have no choice but to start Mark Sanchez
Even though quarterback Mark Sanchez has looked horrible over the past few weeks, the New York Jets don’t have a choice but to keep him as their starter after giving him a hefty contract extension this past offseason that will pay over $3.2 million this season, and $8.2 million next season. He’s also slated to receive more than $8 million in bonus money over the next two seasons...
Tim Tebow publicly stands by Mark Sanchez
Regardless of what might be said at the moment it appears like we are inching closer to Tebow Time in New York.
The Jets backup quarterback is not taking the bait in regards to throwing current starter Mark Sanchez under the bus.

Is it time for a “Sanchez-ometer” in New York?
Tim Tebow threw his first pass of the year yesterday, a week later than I predicted. Surprisingly he was able to complete it, leaving his success rate for the season at a very impressive 100%. Unfortunately the 1-1 performance didn’t do much for his career completion percentage (aka the Tebometer), which is still only 47.5%.
But the Jets backup QB can take solace in the fact...
NY Jets Get Crushed by SF 49ers, Sanchez and Offense Non-Existant
Just when you thought things could not get any worse, you play another game, and lose another player. The Jets lost their best player last week when CB Darrelle Revis tore his ACL. This week we may have the Jets best player on the other side of the ball go down as well. And to all this a QB in Mark Sanchez and an offense that was nowhere to be found, and things do not look...
NFL Rumors: Is Rex Ryan Still Going with Mark Sanchez at Quarterback?
Facebook.com/Jets
The New York Jets were humiliated Sundday at home by the San Francisco 49ers in a 34-0 blowout, and plenty of the pundits want to place the blame smack on quarterback Mark Sanchez.
Sanchez was a putrid 13-of-29 passes for 103 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception. Sanchez constantly missed his targets, and many thought he would be pulled in favor of Tim...
Ryan says Sanchez our guy, Holmes ruled out for week 5
New York Jets’ coach Rex Ryan reiterated during a Monday press conference that Mark Sanchez is their quarterback. “He’s definitely our guy,” Ryan insisted. “I know this is killing him. He’s going to want to respond.”
Many fans have been talking about Tim Tebow, thinking his time is coming since [...]
Sanchez struggling, opens door for Tim Tebow
The New York Jets and quarterback Mark Sanchez struggled against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, opening the door for Tim Tebow to see more snaps.
The 49ers beat the Jets, 34-0, at MetLife Stadium. Sanchez went 13-of-29 for 103 yards and an interception.
Coach Rex Ryan doesn't believe its time for a quarterback change.
“I don’t think that’s the answer, I think Mark...
The Tuesday Muse, Week 4: Things Are Heating Up in the Meadowlands, and other happenings
After Mark Sanchez’s poor showing against the 49ers on Sunday, the Tebow Watch has officially started. Gary Myers would like to give Sanchez until Halloween to fix things, while Peter King thinks Sanchez will last a couple more weeks. Kevin Kernan wants to start Tebow now, as does Vinnie Iyer, and Michael Tomaso thinks that the Jets actually stuck with Sanchez in Sunday’s...
Who is the Next Jets Quarterback?
[caption id="attachment_270" align="alignnone" width="300"] Mark Sanchez gets up slow after throwing an interception.[/caption]
It seems as though this will be the last season the Jets keep saying "Mark Sanchez is the right guy for the job." He hasn't played well at all, and that's probably a bit of an understatement. Although...
Wanted: A QB Who Can Throw Football, If Found Call New York Jets
The New York Jets had goals for the 2012 season. We wanted to challenge the Patriots and bring New York Football back from Big Blue to Gang Green. Mark Sanchez was supposed to breakout this year. He was going to become the next Peyton Manning. As of right now, none of those goals are going to happen.First of all let me just make something perfectly clear. Tim Tebow should...
Showdown with San Fransisco a Make or Break for Jets’ Identity
It’s hard to believe that a week 4 afternoon games against a team from 3,000 miles away could be so pivotal, but that is the exact situation that the New York Jets find themselves in. This is the first week of the post Darrelle Revis era and it is could not come at a more inopportune time.
The Jets have a real identity problem.
After scraping out an ugly win last week in the heat...
