Would the Eagles be interested in signing Donovan McNabb? This question has popped up and immediately should be followed with why?McNabb, believes he has a 80-90% chance of playing this season in the NFL. The short-list of teams, ARIZONA, OAKLAND and GREEN BAY, no Eagles. For that I am grateful! The Eagles had some good seasons with McNabb under center. I say good, because as we all know we did not win a Super Bowl and that is all that really matters doesn’t it? To bring back McNabb as a reserve would be a distraction. If McNabb actually got into a game would also mean Vick has gotten hurt again and the season would be in jeopardy. If that was the case, Vick getting hurt, we might as well look at Mike Kafka and see now if he is of NFL caliber. We don’t need to roll out an aged but thinner Donovan McNabb. The Eagles offense is a timing offense that throws a lot of screens and short passes. McNabb who found it difficult not to throw those at the receivers shoelaces when he was in his prime is not a fine wine, age has not made him better. I wish Donovan luck on his search for a job, maybe he could give the AFL a look.  Similar Posts:

Philadelphia Eagles training camp begins Sunday, July 22nd, with rookies and selected veterans as the first to arrive by 5:00pm.  They will be joined by the rest of the team on July 25th and the first full-squad practice that is open to the fans is on July 27th. To be honest, I’ve never really given it much thought before, but, have you ever wondered what “selected veterans”...

Can Michael Vick Stay Healthy Throughout 2012?

In order for the Philadelphia Eagles to be successful in 2012 they will need their dual-threat gunslinger Michael Vick behind center for all 16 games of the regular season. Unfortunately, that is something that has been a rare occurrence in Vick’s nine-year NFL career. Vick has played in 16 games just once in that time, his final season in Atlanta. In fact, Vick is currently...

Strip club owner issues warning to Vikings

Being a highly paid professional athlete can present players with many off-the-field distractions. So the Minnesota Vikings hired one such distraction to warn their players about what can happen if they get mixed up with the wrong crowd. According to the Pioneer Press, Sean Bishop, a strip club owner, convicted felon and self-proclaimed "scumbag" from Florida, was brought...

Both Vick and his fashion line were well received, in contrast to his arrival in 2009. "You only get one shot at a...

"No question about it."Not since Brian Mitchell in 2002...

5 Reasons Why You Should Be Worried About The Eagles Heading Into 2012

Let me preface the following post by saying that I think the Eagles will win the NFC East, and also win a playoff game. I’m not going any further than that. I’m not predicting a Super Bowl like a lot of other homers are doing around here, but I think the Eagles will be leaps and bounds better than last season, which I guess isn’t really saying much. That being said, there are...
