The NFL Network recently released a portion of its Top 100 Players of 2012 list, and you know what that means — absolutely nothing. The list is merely a topic for fans, analysts and bloggers like us to analyze and interpret. For players, it can serve as either a pat on the back or a motivational tool. After being ranked No. 70 on this year’s list, Michael Vick will be using for the latter.
“Yeah, that’s a joke,” Vick said when asked about the list during an interview with 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia. “I won’t say where I need to be, I’ll let my peers and everybody else decide on that. It was voted on by the peers, but I just disagree. … Thank you, because they’ve motivated me to become a better player this year, so I’ll have that in the back of my mind as I go out and play this year as well.”
The fans voted Vick No. 43, so obviously he gets a bit more respect there. If the list is based on last season’s performance, Vick’s position is tough to argue. However, Peyton Manning

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mike Vick is aware of his landing spot on the NFL Network’s continuing countdown of the top players of 2012. And he is not pleased with it.
Though the list is compiled based on rankings from fellow players and his ranking of the 70th best player in the league reflected a season where Vick was not at his best, the quarterback thinks it’s…well...

There aren’t many bigger names in the NFL than Michael Vick. There is only one NFL player who shall remain nameless that is as polarizing as Michael Vick.
Since Michael Vick is such a big deal, what is the biggest story concerning him? That would be what to expect from him in the 2012 season.
Vick’s ability as a quarterback was widely derided...
MAD AS HELL
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick went off on a Philly radio show about the NFL Network's Top 100 player ranking list, on which he was named the 70th best player.
Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Mike Vick was recently asked about the NFL’s 2012 Top 100 list, a yearly ranking of the 100 best players in the league as picked by the players in the NFL. This season, Vick landed at a surprisingly low 70th spot, falling squarely between 49ers corner Carlos Rogers, and Vick’s big play [...]
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick joined Mike Missanelli on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia (via SportsRadioInterviews) and was asked about a tweet that he posted this morning that said, ” Super Bowl that is all.”
“We just feel like we’re in a position to accomplish a lot, said Vick. ”That’s what we wanna do. And I think if you don’t...
Alas, another player thinking this NFL Top 100 thing is a joke. But, I do have to give them credit, they make these rankings based off of the players that supposedly vote, and make them a list out of it. It’s dumb, but it gets fans and players going on it, thus bringing in more views and discussion.
Today on 97.5 the fanatic, Eagles QB Michael Vick sat down and talked with Mike...
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick isn’t happy at all that he fell 50 spots to number 70 on this year’s NFL top 100 list. He thinks the whole thing is a joke.
“Yeah, it’s a joke,” Vick told 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia, via NFL.com. “I mean, I won’t say where I need to be, I let my peers and everybody else decide on that. Maybe it was...
Washington Redskins’ cornerback DeAngelo Hall has a perspective that no one in the league has concerning quarterback Robert Griffin III and the player he will most likely be compared to throughout his career: Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Michael Vick.Hall played with Vick for three seasons as a member of the Atlanta Falcons. He has also had to play against Vick a lot in recent...
Without a doubt, Cam Newton‘s rookie season will go down in the record books as one of the best by a rookie QB in the history of the NFL. However, it is said that it is harder to stay at the top than it is to actually get there, as we have seen many spectacular campaigns being followed by something rather mediocre. Now that coaches and players have seen what Newton brings to...
I’ve tried the past five years to keep my criticism of Michael Vick in check. People constantly get onto me for saying that the guy “made a mistake” and he “paid his debt to society” and that he earned his second chance and I should get on board with that.
As a retired breeder and owner of multiple Doberman Pinscher’s, I’m sorry but that was just something I could...
In this week’s Face/Off, it’s a matchup of mobile quarterbacks and former #1 overall picks in Philadelphia’s Michael Vick against Carolina’s Cam Newton. I’ll tell you why you should take Cam Newton and not even second guess it.
Last season, Newton accounted for 14 rushing touchdowns and became one of the more valuable quarterbacks in fantasy. ...
