Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has heard enough. The enigmatic signal caller went on a Philadelphia radio show this week to give a piece of his mind to anyone who doubts his football abilities. Especially the critics who claim Vick isn't good at deciphering National Football League defenses.“I’m really tempted right now to just say ‘no comment’ to that because, like I said a second ago, you don’t last 12 years in the NFL not being able to read the defense,” Vick said on 97.5 The Fanatic this week. “Those people who are talking and saying that are just ignorant, and they know nothing about football. Unless they turn on the film and watch my game and see what goes on, then they’ll replace those comments with the right comments.”Perhaps the southpaw should have left it at no comment. There appears to be evidence to suggest that the 32-year-old is indeed regressing, though. His completion percentage and quarterback rating has fallen each year since his comeback season in 2010. His touchdown to interception ratio has taken a hit, as well. So, although Vick is right that a QB doesn't last 12 years in the NFL without being able to read defenses (it's actually more like 10 for him because he spent the 2007 and 2008 seasons in prison for his involvement in illegal dog fighting), he should probably tone it down a little and look at the facts, one of which includes that he has fumbled or been intercepted 119 times in 121 career games.Via Sports Illustrated
