There are now a plethora of head coaching vacancies in the NFL following Black Monday. Seven coaches in all were let go by their respective teams on the day immediately following the conclusion of the regular season. Naturally, the rumor mill is already swirling as to who their replacements might be.One possibility to fill an opening is former Super Bowl-winning-coach Mike Holmgreen. The 64-year old expressed interest in a potential return to the sidelines, but also indicated he wasn't aggressively pursuing one either."If anyone is interested, I'll listen," said Holmgren, who won the Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers in 1996 and led the Seattle Seahawks to the NFL title game in 2005.Holmgren most recently served as the president of the Cleveland Browns. He stepped down in November to return to his home in Arizona. In an interview with ESPN in November, Holmgren said he didn't know if he was going to go back to work immediately, nor if he knew it was going to be in football. The Arizona Cardinals now have an opening after firing Ken Whisenhunt on Monday. However, Holmgren has declined to say which teams he would be interested in or whether any team has contacted him about their vacancy.Via ESPN.
