The latest depth chart released Tuesday by the Pittsburgh Steelers revealed that Jason Worilds had overtaken rookie Jarvis Jones as the starting right outside linebacker. Head coach Mike Tomlin talked about the demotion of the Steelers first-round draft pick during his weekly press conference. "He's just not doing enough detailed work right now and really, Jason Worilds is, and that's just the reality of it," said Tomlin. "Part of playing really good defense and really good football, period, is having detail with your work and there's more detail in Worilds' work right now than there is Jarvis'. Jarvis needs to continue to work. I think he's open to that and we're open to giving him an opportunity to do so." While Worilds hasn't set the world on fire so far this season, Jones really hasn't played well at all. Through the first seven games of the season, the Steelers have officially credited Worilds with 12 total tackles, one sack and eight quarterback pressures. As for Jones, the Steelers have him down for 15 total tackles on defense and just three pressures of the opposing quarterback to go along with zero sacks. Jones' play Sunday against the Oakland Raiders was probably the final straw as he allowed quarterback Terrelle Pryor to break containment a few times in the 11 total snaps that he played. Tomlin is obviously trying to send a message to Jones right now and he wants him to win back the starting job from Worilds.
