Because the drills are non-contact, it’s nearly impossible to tell how valuable a player — especially a rookie — can be back there. However, Cox did appear relatively comfortable despite next to no return experience (two onside kick recoveries in college). Just something to ponder on an otherwise quiet and boring mid-May day. Giants co-owner says Jets damaged Tebow’s career (Video)

Although Tim Tebow's time with the Jets has ended, it's not stopping rival executives from looking back on arguably one of the worst moves in Gang Green's history. Giants co-owner Steve Tisch told TMZ that he feels "badly" for Tebow, implying the free agent quarterback's career was damaged by the Jets. "I think him going from the Broncos to the...

Adult Film Star Richelle Ryan tells us about the N.Y. Giants Draft

Oh how we all love the NFL Draft. Lots of player movement and new college players moving up to the big dog league. As New York Giants fans you have to respect that we do things “our way” and tend to trust GM Jerry Reese. The Giants focused on adding size and toughness on the lines, both offensive and defensive. We used our first three picks on toughening up the lines. Our...

Giants reportedly view Victor Cruz as more than a slot receiver

It was reported earlier this offseason that the New York Giants don’t look at Victor Cruz as more than a slot receiver.  This would lead us to believe they’re not willing to pay him more than $6 million per season, since that’s the go rating for a slot receiver after seeing what Wes Welker got this offseason from the Broncos. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the...

Giants WR Victor Cruz Lowers His Contract Demands

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, Giants WR Victor Cruz has lowered his contract demands from previously $10 million to $11 million per season, to “payday much closer to what the Giants are offering,” which was around $8 million per season. This is a considerable development as Cruz’s asking price was holding up negotiations and the possibility of the...

Report: Cruz and Giants talks at the ‘two-yard line’

Two years ago, Victor Cruz was hoping to make the New York Giants roster. He put in extra work, getting to know Eli Manning a little better by showing up to Eli’s self-organized passing camp due to the lockout. Now, Cruz is battling the Giants for a new contract, and it appears they are finally almost there according to the latest report from Lenn Robbins of the NY Post: A source...

First round pick Justin Pugh is learning life on the right side

Justin Pugh was a three year starter at left tackle at Syracuse, but the New York Giants see him as David Diehl’s eventual replacement at right tackle. Some offensive linemen make the move with ease, and some struggle to the point of getting the quarterback killed. The latter can’t happen when the QB is Eli Manning, so Pugh has to learn his new position well, or Tom Coughlin...

According to Lenn Robbins of the New York Post,  the Giants and Cruz aren’t too far away from getting an extension done. A source told The Post that Cruz and the Giants, ‘are on the 2-yard line,’ in successfully completing their lengthy...

According to the New York Daily News, the Giants and wide receiver Victor Cruz are getting closer to striking a long-term extension now that Cruz has lowered his demands. Victor Cruz Is Close To A New Deal

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin recently admitted that the Victor Cruz contract talks were starting to become a distraction. As Cruz has been mostly silent during this offseason, at least regarding the twigs and berries of his wishes and demands, the speculative media monster had previously suggested that Cruz was looking for a contract that would pay him more than $10 million...
