Let me just get the “records were made to be broken” cliché out of the way early – now you don’t need to worry about it popping up later. Is it just me or have the all-time records started to fall with scary frequency lately? Just last season, not one, but two players [Brady, Brees] broke Dan Marino’s all-time passing yardage mark for a single season – a record which stood for 26 years. If that weren’t enough, Rob Gronkowski followed up a solid rookie season by eclipsing Kellen Winslow’s 31-year old mark of 1,290 yards by a tight end. And lest we not forget that in 2007, Tom Brady broke the mark for TD passes in a single season (50), which had just previously been broken in 2004 by Peyton Manning (48). Clearly a trend is forming. As we look ahead to the 2012 season, what are the next set of records in danger of being savagely beaten into submission? Receiving Yards in a Single Season – Wide Receiver Record Holder: Jerry Rice – 1,869 yards in 1995 Best Chance to Dethrone the Reco...

‘Call Me Brady’ Is The Perfect Troll Brady Summer Jam

Now that Tom Brady has a fun new ‘do just in time for summer, all we have to do to now is find the perfect breezy pop song to blast with the top down on the way to the local tiki bar. O HAI, what have we here? A cover of Carly Rae Jepsen’s soon-to-be-if-not-already ubiquitous pop hit “Call Me Maybe” with lyrics refashioned for Dreamboat and sung into a webcam with dramatic...

‘Call Me Brady’ is the feelgood parody hit of the summer about Tom Brady (video)

Sure, it might be the only parody song about New England Patriots quarterback extraordinaire,Tom Brady, that comes out this summer, but chances are pretty good there could be another one or two, depending on whether or not some motivated parody songwriter chooses to pen an ode to Tommy’s new hairstyle. It could happen. I’ll give [...]

New England Patriots Fantasy Football Projections

QB Tom Brady (New England) Tom Brady threw for 5235 yards last year on the strength of 611 passing attempts, but he’s only twice gone over 580 attempts in a season and the Patriots should have a better defense next year. I also think his 8.5 YPA from last year is unsustainable as he’s only gone over 8 twice in his career. The other time he did that was 2007, when Josh McDaniels...

‘Call Me Brady’ Is The Song Of The NFL Summer

Thanks to an endorsement from Justin Bieber and a catchy hook straight out of Disney Channel primetime, ‘Canadian Idol’ third place finalist Carly Rae Jepsen has the “song of the summer” with Call Me Maybe. At the time of this posting, the video (featuring Carly being in love with her emo fitness model neighbor until he stops doing chores and tries to surprise buttsex a...

Tom Brady must be so proud

To be the subject of this tribute song. Kind of catchy, no?

Randy Moss was on the outs with Tom Brady in New Engalnd? He doesn't seem to have a problem in San Francisco.

Between rock and a hard place: Wes Welker had no choice but to sign franchise tag

Wes Welker said Tuesday that he was taking a leap of faith in signing the franchise tender. However, it was more of a push from the New England Patriots front office. Passing camps start soon and Welker knows all to well that if he's out of sight, he's out of mind. In the 2012 off-season, the Patriots restocked their diminished wide receiver position. Brandon Lloyd, Jabar...
