The Oakland Raiders are coming off another disappointing season and will reportedly head into the NFL offseason well over the 2013 salary cap. One possible move for the Raiders will be to ask QB Carson Palmer to renegotiate his contract moving forward.  Oakland is expected to be approximately $4.5 million over the salary cap next season. Palmer has been lackluster under center during his tenure with the Raiders, winning just eight game while dropping 16. He has 35 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. His salary number is over $13 million next season and at this point in his career, he is certainly not worth the money. Of course, Palmer does not have to agree to a salary reduction, and then Oakland would have to release him outright if he decides to holdout. The Raiders really don’t have a lot of other options at the quarterback position. There is a lackluster free agent pool and no really surefire, can’t miss in the rookie quarterback class this season. Oakland has Terrelle Pryor o...

The Raiders are looking to improve their defensive line and changes are going to be coming down soon, according to Bill Williamson of ESPN.com. Raiders will likely ask Carson Palmer to restructure deal

The cash-strapped Oakland Raiders and Carson Palmer will likely have to come to terms on a contract restructuring, or Palmer could end up being released. The sections that will blocked off include 335 through 355, 300 thought 303 on the south side, and 331 through 334 on the north side. About 4,850 fans will be relocated with the price of their...

Oakland Raiders first round draft prediction: Star Lotulelei

After close examination of the Oakland Raiders roster and the projected players available at the 3rd overall spot, Star Lotulelei is the most likely pick for the Raiders in the 2013 NFL Draft. This assessment also takes into account Geno Smith and Jarvis Jones dropping to the 3rd pick. Here’s why. Geno Smith is a first round talent, but even if he dropped to the 3rd pick, the Raiders...

Georgia has been hard at work trying to fill the void left by the presumably Ole Miss bound Laremy Tunsil and they hope to have lessened the damage with the pledge of DeVondre Seymour.
