Found January 13, 2013 on NFL Injury Report:
After his successful campaign with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this season, it was obvious the NFL would come calling Brian Kelly.  He took the Irish from a non-factor to a national contender.  That's always going to attract NFL teams.  The Philadelphia Eagles were one of those teams. While Kelly did interview with the Eagles, he will not be taking a head coaching job in the NFL.  According to Pete Thamel of Sports Illustrated, Kelly turned down the Eagles coaching job and will return to Notre Dame. BREAKING: Brian Kelly is staying at Notre Dame, official source confirms. — Pete Thamel(@SIPeteThamel) January 12, 2013 The Eagles has a rough season in 2012.  They struggled all season and Andy Reid was fired for it.  Reid may not necessarily have been the problem, but he was not fixing things fast enough for Philadelphia's ownership.  Now, the Eagles are looking for their next head coach, and Kelly could have been a fit. Since taking over the Fighting Irish, Kelly has taken the team to a bowl in each season.  This year, he coached them to an undefeated (until the Championship game) season.  They eventually lost to Alabama in the National Championship game, but no one can deny the success Notre Dame had this year. It seems Kelly will get an extension or a raise and continue to build Notre Dame into the powerhouse they once were.
