One fan of the Cleveland Browns has the opinion that the Browns front office is working behind the scenes with the mindset of an arsonist. He sent in a comment that said, “why don’t you just burn the whole thing down.” Here at Cleveland Sports 360 we write articles that are based on some of the thoughts that come in from Browns fans. We think it is important to publish fans opinions. Why not? These are the people who send in their opinions and these are the people who buy the tickets. This particular fan no longer feels the need to buy tickets to go down and watch an inferior product on the field. Until others do the same thing the Browns will continue to play inferior football.. Why not? They can put garbage products on the field year after year and people will still by the tickets and the Browns will still make a ton of money. Last season the players in the NFL voted the Cleveland Browns the worse franchise in the NFL to work for. This is the main reason you don’t see top named fr...

  • I vehemently disagree. This is a ludicrous opinion! "The fan" needs to learn a bit with regards to how the NFL works. It's a business!
I see nothing wrong with the direction the new regime is taking the Browns. Sentimental love for players on the downside of their careers has to be ignored. Again, I say, this is a business.
I believe the new regime deserves much better treatment than what the Cleveland fans are showing them.
  • LMAO... Seriousy, you poor knieve man.. Or woman.. The Browns continuously put less than adequate players on the field.. They are so under the salary cap because they won't pay for studs they pay for teaser ponies. They are pathetic and until they start spending money they will continue to suck and loose.. And yes I am a Cowboys fan, and yes I live in Ohio... The Hall of Fame City to be exact. Poor Browns fans.. Glutens for punishment. But hey there is alway next year.... SUCKERS...
  • I think the "Fan" is right on. Browns fans are tired of waiting. Cut them some slack and understand just like you want the fans to do for this new regime. Sounds to me like it's going to be the same old stuff......wait till next year.
  • Banner and Lombardi will be gone within 2 years. We lost more in free agency than we gained so that was a waste of time. And the new regime hired a HC with no prior head coaching experience, just like the old regime. The Browns will be lucky to win 5 games in 2013.

The new regime is more interested in creating new revenue streams by selling the stadium naming rights and a new radio contract.

  • All we hear year after year is wait till next season. My question to the front office is this: is next season ever going to get here? The Browns can't even seem to find a real NFL caliber coach let alone a starting quarterback worth anything. How many coaches and quarterbacks have we had since the comeback season of 2000? Cleveland fans deserve a lot better.
  • All I can say is Colt McCoy is the luckiest guy in the world to go play on a winning team. I am sure he is still celebrating.
  • They done one thing right. Traded McCoy. That guy would have just confused the quarterback situation with a good camp & preseason.
  • Haslam had his head up his "ass" when he hired those two buffoons !.
  • DON'T LET THAT "ONE FAN" PLAY WITH MATCHES! He's liable to set a fire, HIMSELF!
Stupid assessment by, 'THE ONE FAN!"
  • Finally, I've found a place to vent. Thank all of you for suffering the humiliation that comes with being a browns fan. Now that Randy pocketed his millions and dumped this miserable franchise on another sucker, what do they do? Hire a coach named CHUD and bring Norville (I coached the chargers to oblivion) Turner. Three cheers for Colt. He's finally playing for a real football team. As for 2013, prepare for more disaster.

The Cleveland Browns may have a new guy signing the checks, but it looks like the same old, taking place

Don’t let the new owner of the Cleveland Browns fool you into thinking there is serious change taking place on the team. There isn’t, the proof is in the releasing of line-backer Chris Gocong who missed last season because of a leg injury. The Browns who are already lacking line-backers cut Gocong from the team yesterday. People where excited when new ownership took over the...

Ground hog day: Browns deep housecleaning again

Since 1999 and the rebirth of the Cleveland Browns, the road has been more bumps than smooth pavement. New management in CEO Joe Banner and GM Mike Lombardi has brought some hope to the team, but it seems like the same song playing over again. However, once again the Browns are gutting the old model in order to start a new one, kind of like ground hog day. A repeat of what already...

This NFL free agent class was “one of the worst”

The Cleveland Browns struck quickly in free agency with Desmond Bryant and Paul Kruger before executing some more conservative signings, presumably for depth. Of course as they continue to cut players like Usama Young and Chris Gocong loose, many fans wonder if the Browns were too conservative in their free agency signings with holes all over the field still. If you believe respected...

Browns fans to be treated to exclusive NFL-mandated video footage

Fans of the Cleveland Browns who opt to watch contests within the confines of FirstEnergy Stadium will be treated to some behind-the-scenes video beginning in 2013. In the league’s on-going efforts to provide paying fans with improved in-stadium experiences, all 32 NFL teams will be mandated to have cameras within the locker room that will feed footage exclusively to monitors and...

Mohamed Massaquoi no longer to been seen sitting on the bench for The Cleveland Browns He signed in Jacksonville

The guy who former Browns president told us would have a big year last season has now agreed to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars.   Mohamed Massaquoi and the Jaguars have come to terms to sign the wide receiver who spent more time injured than he did playing to a deal. last season Massaquoi only caught 17 passes after Holmgren told the fans in Cleveland “This is going to be...

A serious question for Cleveland Browns fans. Did Joe Banner get rid of Chris Gocong for personal reasons

Joe Banner the man who used to run another NFL team has a long history of being a ruthless business man. When he was hired to become the CEO of the Cleveland Browns, the fans in Cleveland really didn’t have much of an idea of what to expect. Now that Banner has had the axe dropped on Chris Gocong for the second time in his NFL career, we are left to wonder if Banner has any personal...

The Cleveland Browns moving to a 3-4 defense, does it make sense to cut linebackers?

Written By: Tim F from North Olmsted   There are many comments floating around about the Browns.  I figure I might as well add mine… for what they are worth. The release of Chris Gocong may be a football decision or a personal one.  I noticed, as many of you have I’m sure, that Chris was traded from the Eagles to the Browns.  The thought here is maybe Mr. Banner did not see...

Cleveland Browns: WR Jordan Norwood, LS Christian Yount Sign Tenders

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jordan Norwood and long snapper Christian Yount signed their tenders as exclusive rights players Tuesday, according to the team. Norwood appeared in two games as a reserve last year before a foot injury forced him to miss the final 11 contests of the season.  He tallied 13 receptions for 137 yards, including a career-best nine receptions for a career...

Sizing up the Browns roster so far

The big question is are they better or worse than last year at this time? It is well documented that the Browns had one of the youngest rosters in the NFL with half of the opening day roster last September either rookies or second-year players. It was assumed the Browns were building with young players and had a good nucleus of up-and-coming players on the team. Sure, the team was...

Colt McCoy believes he can still lead the Browns

Colt McCoy doesn’t believe his time as the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback is over. McCoy was in Albilene, Texas for a two-day youth football camp when he told the Albilene Reporter News “I really like Cleveland, I’ve always been a guy that wants to finish what he starts.” McCoy says he just wants the opportunity to compete against Seneca Wallace and first-round draft...

Chips Ahoy

Lost in all the excitement over a new baseball season is the fact that Colt aka “Chips” McCoy has been traded to the Niners along with a sixth round draft pick, in return for a fifth and a seventh-rounder. Without indulging in the nightmare fuel of an attempted determination of whether McCoy had a fair go of it in Cleveland, it’s at least worth noting that he played at...

Jaguars Sign WR Mohamed Massaquoi

Ryan O’Halloran reports that the Jaguars have signed WR Mohamed Massaquoi. Aaron Wilson reports that Massaquoi receives a two-year deal. Massaquoi, 26, recently visited with the Texans as well, but ultimately chose to sign on with Jacksonville after finding minimal interest on the open market. Last year, he tallied 17 receptions for 254 yards and no touchdowns in nine games for...
