GREEN BAY, Wis. On the first day of rookie orientation camp, the Green Bay Packers announced the signings of seven of their eight 2012 draft picks.
A day after safety Jerron McMillian's agent confirmed that his client was the first to sign with the team, the Packers made official the addition of all of their picks except linebacker Nick Perry, the team's first-round choice. Still, Perry was in Green Bay and working out with the team Friday.
Defensive end Jerel Worthy (second round, Michigan State), cornerback Casey Heyward (second round, Vanderbilt), defensive tackle Mike Daniels (fourth round, Iowa), McMillian (fourth round, Maine), linebacker Terrell Manning (fourth round, North Carolina State), offensive tackle Andrew Datko (seventh round, Florida State) and quarterback B.J. Coleman (seventh round, Tennessee-Chattanooga) were all added to the roster and participating in Friday's practice.
