The Green Bay Packers have one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL to date in the 2025 regular season. They are averaging 26.0 points per outing, which is good for ninth overall in the league. Excluding their 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 3, the Packers have put up 31.3 points in the other three contests.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love is doing a fine job overall of leading Green Bay’s offense despite a banged-up offensive line and some injuries in the wide receiver room.
Meanwhile, running back Josh Jacobs is also playing a huge role in the team’s offense. He’s struggling with efficiency on the ground, as he’s only averaging 3.3 yards per carry, so far in the 2025 campaign, but he’s got four rushing touchdowns. In Week 4’s 40-40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys on the road, Jacobs did not just lead Green Bay on the ground; he paced them in receiving yards, too.
The former Alabama Crimson Tide running back had 86 rushing yards and two scores on 22 carries while adding 71 receiving yards on four receptions and four targets.
It’s the second time that Jacobs has had at least 70 rushing yards and 70 receiving yard in a game with the Packers, the team announced on social media.

Of course, Green Bay fans are hyped to learn that Jacobs has pulled off that feat for the second time since he became a Packer.
“THATS MY RB,” said a fan on Instagram.
Another one said: “My RB making headline
”
From a commenter: “Josh Jones was insanely good the entire game
”
“100 percent need to utilize and get better at the short pass with him,” a social media user posted.
Via a different commenter: “Can we run down hill with him now and stop the misdirections 5 yards behind the backfield.”
Said another: “KEEP ON ROLLING
”
Jacobs will rest his body in a Week 5 bye and will be back to it in Week 6 when the Packers share the field with the Cincinnati Bengals.
